Anyone blogging lately?

I've just switched over to a WordPress blog. Hopefully with a new change, I'll be motivated to start blogging regularly again.

I did for the first time in a long time too! I thought about switching my blog.... but moving everything seems a bit of a pain. Is it worth it? I use wordpress for my CT and volunteer jobs.... just not sure.

My old blog was Blogger, and I used Windows LiveWriter to write my posts, which I loved. But I just got a Mac, an there is no Live Writer for Mac. I tried just using the blogger dashboard, but was about to pull my hair out inserting images into my post. So I decided to switch to WordPress since I'm very familiar w/ it from my CTs. And WordPress' dashboard is SO much easier to use. I'm not moving anything over. Just kinda starting again. I still need to "pretty" it up, though.

I have a blog, but it's more deep than fluff. No pictures, layouts, or anything of that nature -- just random stream of consciousness kind of stuff. I'm keeping it off FB, too, so that my family doesn't get a hold of it. :)

I switched from Blogger to WP a while ago and I imported all of my Blogger posts into the WP blog when I set it up. I don't remember exactly how I did it, but it was super-easy or I know I wouldn't have bothered ;)

ETA: I blogged on my new P365-2011 (http://digitaldesignsbykate.com/P365-2011/) blog. I think this P365 thing has the potential to be a lot of fun :)

Just added all your blogs to my Google Reader so I can follow them.

I have been trying to blog more frequently, its my goal in 2011 to blog at least twice a week, if not more.. I use Wordpress.org for my blog and have for years so let me know if you have any questions and if you don't have the Blogdesk for Wordpress software I would suggest you get it. It's a free download as it really makes posting to a Wordpress blog even easier. You can do all of it off line and then just hit upload when you are happy with your post. I never write a blog posting any other way now.
