LOL, My MIL is a pretty bad cook, but I don't think it is something we have let slip out in front of the kids. Ava just likes to grade my meals when we eat dinner, and tonight the meal was "2 thumbs up" and then she mentioned the Grandma thing.

Too funny! Just hope she never tells Grandma. Kids are so innocent . . . I remember once when an elderly friend of ours died & my DS, about 5 at the time, was very upset. I explained to him that everybody dies sometime and that older people die more often. Next time he saw my grandfather, Bill said "Grandpa, you're gonna die. You're old."

LOL, I remember when I was a little kid, one of the ways I differentiated between my grandmothers (other than one was tall and thin, and the other was short and plump) was that one grandma could *cook* and made edible food, while the other one...let's just say she served sour milk, and I'm amazed my dad ever got into food the way he did. She was an *awful* cook. But we all loved her because she was such a sweetheart.
