I bought one bag of the SwirlMallows (chocolate and vanilla) back in July. Yuck. Threw them out. Then I decided to try the gingerbread man marshmallows. They were so so but I ended up throwing those out too. Now I see that they have strawberry marshmallows for valentine's day. No thank you. I think I'm done with the flavored marshmallows. Guess I just like the basic flavor.

So does anyone here like those flavored marshmallows? And if yes, which flavors?

I chose option 3 because we don't get flavoured marshmellows here.

You're lucky because you don't fall for it like I did and waste good money that could have been better spent on sweets I actually would eat. LOL.

Leave the marshmallows alone! The only tolerable flavored marshmallows are the little French Vanilla ones they had out at Christmas. They're similar enough to regular ones that I can eat them.

I love the little French Vanilla Snowman ones they had, and the pink strawberry heart ones are pretty good too. I didn't like the chocolate/vanilla swirl ones though, and the coconut ones are kinda gross too..

Leave the marshmellows alone...and completely out please. I can't stand marshmellows.

I picked leaving my marshmallows alone! :) I usually don't like the fakeness of the flavors... now when I make homemade marshmallows, I love to put in mint extract... yum!

I used the strawberry ones to make heart-shaped rice crispy treats for DS's class party at school..they were a big hit actually :)

I like the strawberry ones to make rice crispy treats, otherwise, leave them alone.

My kiddo loves the flavored ones, I think they are OK, but would much rather the plain ones.

I said to leave the marshmallows alone, but I don't even like the plain ones, so I guess I don't care. lol Luke LOVES the strawberry ones, though!

I'm torn... I'd say leave them alone, but I did LOVE the little vanilla snowmen ones in my coffee over Christmas. But I can't even fathom trying the strawberry ones or other flavors.

How do you make homemade marshmallows? Is it difficult?

I like plain marshmallows but they also have fruit flavored ones which are not bad. They kinda remind me of fruit loops in flavor. The only way though that we eat marshmallows here is cooked over a campfire. SOOOO GOOD!! I like to roast them then peel the skins off and then roast them again until I cannot peel the skin off anymore.

They are pretty easy and quick to make.... and tastes so much better than store bought. Oh, and making rice treats with them, out of this world! :)

I did a posting on Heather's blog a few months back with the recipe I use...

In my classroom, we use marshmallows as motivators to get kids to talk. We're always on the lookout for different marshmallows. We've had 'em all. I can't wait until Spring Break. There's a store in Branson that sells just the dehydrated marshmallows from Lucky Charms. I'm bringing back a couple boxes for my students.

I bought a bag of mini marshmallows for the kids' hot chocolate, I saw the colorful mini ones and I thought they'd like them... I didn't realize they were fruity flavored. They ate them a couple of times, but have been sitting in my cupboard for a couple of months not being touched. I'll either throw them away or getting some rice krispies to make treat bars with. .... Yuckerz to those.. blah!!
