So far so pleased with my new Nikon D7000 I just had to share a shot or two I took this morning with my 50mm lens (which I swear is not the sharpest copy).

All at 640 ISO in my dimly lit living room.

I totally ended up bribing the boys to smile for me. The winner got to open up the new Tag Reader book I had stashed away. The other one got a crazy straw. They both won and I got some good smiles at last!

CUTE pics!!! I'm planning to by a new dSLR camera by the end of the year and always be a 'Canon girl', so I'm kinda decided about my new camera already, but I have to say: I'm impressed. I even went to check some info about Nikon D7000 and it's cheaper than the Canon I want. Decisions, decisions... :p

Cute cute cute! I am trying to decide whether to go for the d7000 or save a little more for full frame. It's tempting!

I know what you mean. I thought I wanted FF until I started seeing reviews of the 7000. Then I saw some shots of it vs the 700. And since I would have to sell my favorite lens only to spend more money to replace it (17-55 2.8 DX) and pay $1000 more for the camera, I decided it wasn't worth it for me. I'm no pro though. Plus I kinda like the extra zoom I get with my crop sensor!
