i really wanna make something, simple, yummy, and just to die for! i'm craving sweets right now but a simple chocolate bar won't do. i don't like nuts... so if you have anything to recommend i would be ever so thankful!

Ingredients:

Yield:36 Servings Size bars

* 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
* 1 lb confectioners' sugar (3 to 3 1/2 cups)
* 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
* 1 cup butter, melted
* 1 (12 ounce) bag milk chocolate chips

Directions:

Prep Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 15 mins

1. Combine graham crumbs, sugar and peanut butter and mix well.
2. Blend in melted butter until well combined.
3. Press mixture evenly into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
4. Melt chocolate chips in microwave or in double boiler.
5. Spread over peanut butter mixture.
6. Chill until just set and cut into bars (these are very hard to cut if the chocolate gets "rock hard".

that looks really yummy. i'll have to try that sometime... but i'm not a super big fan of peanut butter, lol...hubby on the other hand is, so he'll will be so happy you shared this with me, lol.

yeah those crossed my mind... they are a HUGE hit in my family! it has been a while since i made them... it may be those.... i'm trying to pin point what i'm craving....those are really close...

i also wanna try a few different flavors of cupcakes but i don't feel like cupcakes and don't have the patience for cake balls...lol...

I just made the DH a peach cobbler tonight and he is loving it. I used a recipe that is similar to this one (http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1941,155173-241205,00.html)...can't find the link to the one I actually DID make :mellow:

i can honestly say i've never made a cobbler... i bet it is delish... can you add cinnamon in a peach cobbler or should that be kept to apples?

I'm making DH tomato soup cake right now. I know...sounds gross...but it's really, really yummy, especially with cream cheese icing! If you like carrot cake, you'll like this.

what's the recipe for the tomato soup cake, thats certainly different...

Tomato Soup Cake

1/2c. butter (marg)
1/2c. lard
1 egg
1.5c. white sugar
**Cream together**

1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
2c. flour
**Mix together in separate bowl**

1c. walnuts (optional)
1c. raisins
1c. dates (optional)

1 - 10oz. can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp. baking powder

Add dry ingredients to wet. Add tomato soup and baking soda, then raisins, nuts, etc.

Pour into greased 9x13 pan, bake at 375 for 30-35mins.

Top with cream cheese icing & enjoy!

My daughter requested THIS (http://www.jiffymix.com/recipe.php/Jiffy+White+Cake+Mix/238-Fruit+Magic) made with cherry pie filling (and I omit the nuts) instead of a cake for her birthday this year. So super simple and yummy. I doubled the recipe and used a 9x13 pan.

I've seen some peach cobbler recipes that use cinnamon, but I've never tried it myself.
