Poor La has been sick now since last weekend, and not just like "my head hurts" sick, she has been in intense severe pain (midsection/hips + severe nausea + headache/dizziness/weakness). She went to urgent care Monday, Tuesday she saw her personal dr. and no answers/no relief, nothing!

Today everything escalated even more and she is currently in the ER at the hospital. It takes a lot for lauren to even go to the dr's office, so the fact that she took herself to the ER indicates just how badly she is doing :(

Keep our La in your thoughts today, she needs answers and RELIEF, i know those of us that know her well are worried sick. I'll keep intouch with her and send her your love today.

I just got a message from a local friend of hers. Lauren was admitted overnight, they found she had three blood clots, one blocking a kidney and 2 in her legs.

I wish I knew more about what the treatment plan is or how long she'll be there, but for now she wanted everyone to know she is ok.

So scary! I'm worried about my bestie :( - please do keep her in your prayers tonight!

Urgent care is fine for certain things but it sounds like this urgent care didn't take things seriously. I went to urgent care this past weekend, and because of the size and severity of my burn, they almost sent me to the ER - they recognized their limitations. Her urgent care place should have recognized that she was beyond their expertise and sent her to the ER right then.
