What's your one little thing?

Okay - it's Tuesday after a holiday weekend here in the US. I'm grumpy, no one wants to get up and I'm dreading a day full of training meetings at work...but you know what? I was making my lunch and I realized that Turkey Bacon in my salad makes me happy. I'm looking forward to my healthy lunch, I'm now thinking today isn't going to be so bad. Isn't it funny how one little thing can turn your day around?

So...what is the one little thing that is making you happy today?

I know this will sound bad, I do love having hubby home during the day... but hubby has been home the last 4 days... so, I'm happy that our routine will get back to normal... :)

Hot verbena and mint tea when scrapping totally makes my day ! But coffee is always needed when getting up though ! ;)

Sunshine and blue skies totally makes me happy. Lucky for me it's sunny 365 days a year here. So like yesterday when I was outside running {puke} I kept focusing on the blue sky and being thankful.

I'm having an ugly day and my beacon of light is called Tracy Beaker - a BBC series for children. I'm reading a book and when I found out it was filmed, I was curious, and there, I'm hooked, LOL. It's much smarter and wittier than most live-action shows I watched as a kid (cartoons were great, but live action kiddo programmes sucked in Communist Czechoslovakia).

I slept like crap last night. My SIL brought my nephew over for the day which means I wont be able to nap this morning like I usually can when its just me and Ryan. But then remembered that I have a starbucks vanilla frappucino in my fridge which makes me happy. And its wierd because Im not normally a coffee drinker but I've been loving these lately. And they are light too so only 100 cals!

I'm going to sound like a nutcase, but my morning workout makes me happy. It gets me going and gets the adrenaline pumping, and it makes me feel good that I've done something good for myself.

My one little thing is that we are officially done with school (save the reading thing JP has to do with his 'teacher' tomorrow.)! We submitted each of their final tests last night and should have grades in about a week.:thumbup:

This morning I am listening to the boys playing in their room--getting along with no fighting. Rae is awake but still in her bed--singing. Both of those things make me happy.

Coffe. Coffee is my one thing. And like Rebecca, I love my hubby, but am glad to see him go every morning. Him home all day just ruins mine and Belly's schedule.

Oh, and I just want to add that laying in bed and checking in on all my buddies in the SSD forums on my iPhone makes me smile too. :)

It's literally pouring rain here {AGAIN} today. My girls are home today (moving their school back in and getting ready for classes to start again tomorrow) so I am thankful and happy for the extra entertainment. :)

My coke (I am not a coffee drinker so this is my pick me up!) and Landon woke up HAPPY! Sometimes I am not so lucky and it take a while to get the grumpy out. SO, I think today will be a great day! :thumbup:

The boys are back in school today. :) My oldest especially gets bored and crazy when he's home too many days in a row, and with the younger 2 needing naps and more down time I can't keep him out and as busy as he needs.

Also, yesterday wasn't a good Weight Watchers day. Not terrible, but definitely not good enough. I'm back on track today, and that makes me happy.

that I have the house to myself today!!!!! and the tanning bed {don't get yelling at me, caus ein the PNW you NEED it!!!:p}.....starting June 15th until school starts int he fall I will be a full time student and a full time SAHM with 4 kids so I am taking advantage while I can!

I'm loving the rental car my insurance set me up with this morning. It's a Dodge Charger. I've been driving a mini van for 3 years & it's nice to have a little sedan for a change.

My dog decided to hug me this morning (she lies her head on my neck) and gave me doggies kisses when I started to stir. El ran in and got in on the doggie love. Nice when someone gets that excited to see you wake up!

My one thing is when my DD actually eats a meal. It's such a relief and makes me so happy when she eats well.

Being out & about before the stores opened today. I wasn't happy about when I was awake early... but we stopped at the park to wait for the stores to open and it was kind of nice.

Dh made me a latte before leaving a couple of hours ago. Pure bliss. :)

And McDonald's iced coffee are 1$ all summer long! Yay! A small one is only 120 cal. :p

We leave tomorrow for a week-long vacation to NYC. I've never been before so I am SO excited! :thumbup:
