Traci: I must have seen a repeat of the premiere last night. Thanks. Good to know that I haven't missed half a season.
Jengerbread88: Thanks. I didn't realize they were playing it on Hulu also.

I watched the premiere but I can't decide whether I liked it or hated it. LOL Everyone seemed SO over the top. Like they were all trying WAY too hard. But then that's how I feel about Glee these days too - it's was practically unwatchable by the end of the season for me. I miss the early days of Glee before they bought into their own annoying hype.

I watched the premiere on hulu earlier this week and really enjoyed it. There are a couple of really annoying contestants that are going to HAVE to go though.

Oh, indeed! One who I particularly disliked is Lindsay . . . she seems waaaaay too full of herself - as do a few of the others. I won't mention names since not everyone has watched yet, but I wasn't at all disappointed with the person who was sent home first - way too cocky for my tastes.
For those of you who are watching, if you like Cameron, would you please go vote for him here: The Glee Project Favorite (http://thegleeproject.oxygen.com/fan-favorite-bing?nocache=1#fbid=VZXJf49MYwY). He's a very good friend of my BFF's son & is a really nice young man. I'm definitely with Lynette in thinking that Glee has gone just a wee bit over the top, but I'm still watching this show so I can follow Cameron's progress :-)

YES. So much cockiness all around and not a whole lot to back it up, at least based on the first episode. If you're going to proclaim you have the "best voice in the competition," your one line in the group song better be AMAZING. Not to mention all the inappropriate flirting with Darren Criss. "I want to wear a bikini." Way to keep it professional kids! LOL!
Did anyone else think the vocal coach and dance instructor seemed incredibly cranky? Like almost annoyed they had to deal with the new kids? Maybe they're just trying to prepare them for the real set, but I'm not sure scowling at them and making snotty comments like "well I guess we can work with that" is the way to bring out the best in these kids when it's their first time in a recording studio. A little positive encouragement would go a long way.
