I use Blogger. Under settings-permissions, these are your options:

Who can view this blog?

Anybody
Only people I choose
Only blog authors

Mine is set to "only blog authors" and this is what it says:

Your blog is restricted so that only you can read it.

Other visitors to this blog will not be able to read any posts; instead they will get a message stating that this is a private blog.

I've also used livejournal.com, but I like Blogger better. :) Good luck!

I used to use Live Journal. It defaults to private & then you can choose to let specific people view it or everyone view it.

I signed up for Oh Life too, but never replied to the emails. I got thinking...who receives the response...surely someone is going to see what I've written?

Am I being paranoid? I really liked the idea, and the prompt {for motivations}.

Leah, I think it's all automated. The email header has a code in it, so I think it's just automated.. goes to your logon with the site. I'm pretty sure they don't have the staff to retype, format, etc.
