Did you exercise this week? What did you do?

I failed big time last week... but am determined to get back out there and be in shape before vacation in 4 weeks... I can do this right?

Yes Heather, you can do this!

Sun, June 26 - 4.25 miles in 50 min. = 11:45 pace (farthest and longest time I've done)

Mon, June 27 - 3 miles in 34 min. = 11:20 pace (an easy run after pushing it yesterday)

Sat, July 2 - 1.12 miles in 14 min = 12.29 pace (horrible run....very defeated)

Total running for week = 8.37 miles in 1 hour 38 mins

Yesterday I did a 45 minute run

this morning I did a 1 hour Pilates DVD

(I'm going to post everyday to bump this thread instead of just updating one post all week... I think the reason I wasn't motivated last week because this thread got buried and I needed the thread to get me going every day.)

Awesome stuff ladies :)
I'm in a bit of a funk and not feeling all that great, so the motivation is really lacking for me. :/

Add me in - I haven't done my workout yet, but if I can get both girls down this afternoon, I'll be doing Day 4 of my 30 Day Challenge on Wii Sports Active.

went for a brisk walk pushing the big kids in the double jogger and wearing the chubster in a wrap... it was crazy humid out and I was drenched when we got home... Asher was too.

You guys are doing awesome!!! Celeste... thinking of you today... week 3 was always hard for me.

Tuesday June 28th:

45 minutes on the treadmil

Also yesterday I drank (I hate water but I *NEED* to drink more so hoping this will help me keep motivated and accountable!!! :D ) 48 oz of water and 48 ozs of unsweet iced tea.

Good job Elizabeth! The water is SUPER important, for sure. I only drank 60 oz yesterday. Better than what I usually drink, but I'm striving for 3-24 oz glasses a day now (I have one of those big double walled things with a straw, the straw is CRUCIAL to getting me to drink it - apparently I'm like 5 years old).

Well then I am too Col because I drink out of the exact same thing and mine has to be super cold too!!! :D :D

Monday I did a 50-minute "aqua fit" class.

It makes me laugh because the trainers don't think that water aerobics is enough of a challenge, but the aqua fit instructor totally pushes and you definitely get a ton of cardio and can feel it in your muscles if you aren't being pansy about it. The aqua fit instructors seem to love having DD and I in class because we are the only ones who really work out and don't stand in one spot moving water with our hands while chatting. ;)

This afternoon, I'm doing 45 minutes of strength training.

oh.... that's funny... I'd totally be the one standing in the water making conversation

just got back from a 2 mile run pushing the double w/ Moriah who woke up early enough to go with me... this getting up early is hard... especially since Asher seems to be up all night nursing... think it's time to start solids with him.

week 3 is going great. wish it wasn't so darn hot though.
last night i did day 2 of week 3 and then i went for a 2 mile walk with my neighbor.
so about an hour of exercise.

tomorrow i'm going to try running on the treadmill here at work. which means showering at work. adam (10 year old) is supposed to be running with me but I think he's given up.

I've been working out all this time but keep forgetting to come and post. lol Not that I do a whole ton, but it's better than nothing.
Sunday - nothing
Monday - 30 lunges (15 each) with 25 lb exercise ball (hold ball and stretch out arms when steping forward), and some side exercises with the ball that I can't begin to tell you how to do it without sounding stupid. lol
Tuesday - those side sit up thingies, but I'm kinda a wuss so I only did 15 for each side, and walked 1 mile.

I'd be one of the ones in the water talking too!!! :D :D

Well I sucked at water consumption yesterday  I had 48 ozs of unsweet tea and only 24 ozs of water. Gonna try and do better today!!!

Already got 45 minutes on the treadmill done today too!!!

Good job Elizabeth!
I got my 72oz of water in yesterday, but didn't exercise, lol. Hopefully I'll get some exercise in tonight, even if it's just a long walk with Tiger or something. It's not supposed to be as humid and gross out, so fingers crossed.

Friday the 1st: 2.5 mile run before Mark had to get to his meeting... felt good and can tell I'm getting stronger

Saturday the 2nd: 2 mile run and then a sprint to the beach... I'm at my parents and the path is super hilly compared to the flat lands of Chicago lol... After my run I sprinted down the path to the beach... that felt so good... was pretty sore this morning though
