I'm really kind of tired of these kind of shows. I couldn't even make it all the way through The Voice. However, I might watch the first show just to see Simon - I miss him. ;)

I can't decide...to me it just looks like American Idol with a new name.

Yes. But, only for 2 reasons. My cousin was at the Dallas auditions (in the audience) & I want to see if I see her! lol & The Cactus Cuties (http://thecactuscuties.com/) auditioned & I want to see how they do!

I haven't watched AI for quite a few years, so I think I'll give this one a go. I like that it can be bands, any age group, and any instruments. But I'm REALLY looking forward to The Sing-Off. Contemporary A Cappella is a small community (but growing!), so I'm super excited to see so many people I know on the show! And behind the scenes!

I have the DVR set, but I'll decide after the 1st episode if I'm going to invest the time to watch.

My friend did send me this video this morning though from the Australia one that had me in tears...warning get the tissues.

http://youtu.be/W86jlvrG54o

Two little Iraqi boys are born with birth defects in the midst of the chaos of war, and thrown away in a shoe box. They are found, somehow, and an Australian woman goes to Iraq, adopts them, and brings them home. Now, about 17ish years later, the older boy Emmanuel lives his dream by appearing to sing “Imagine” on the X-Factor audition.

Probably not....I haven't watched AI for years and from the previews it looks a lot like that. I'm anxious to hear what others think though... :)
