a lot of my faves are accidents. LOL
i take chicken and just add random stuff. i like to call it chicken a la laura
a recent fave is taco soup.
browned hamburger, onions, black beans, pinto beans, garbanzo beans, a packet of taco seasoning, a can of corn (or i use frozen), and a can of diced tomatoes (i use rotel). when i serve it i serve it with sour cream and bed of shredded cheese and top it with tortilla chips.

if you have a target near you..they have the best marinates/sauces
We just had pineapple/mango chicken with brown rice
I just put chicken breasts and a jar of the marinade and cooked it on low all day..was sooo good
it was this one but they have a ton of diff kinds (and some specifically for slow cooking)

Dang...I was just at Target today. I'll go again next week and try that.
We are the family that hates the crock pot...can't make anything that tastes good, but my sister told me to make chicken for chicken tacos last week, so I gave it one more try, and it was a huge hit.
I just put chicken breasts (maybe 8), 2 packages of chicken taco seasoning, some Herdez salsa, 1 can rotel tomatoes with green chilis and cook on low for 4 - 6 hours. I drained it and then shredded and salted the meat. They were SOOOOOO delicious. I just had it again tonight for dinner since I have to run out to work late tonight. I can't wait to make it again.
I'm going to be stalking this thread!!

YES!!! THIS!!!!!! Sooooo yummy!!!!!
I know how you feel Debra. My DH hates when I cook in the crockpot. He hates the texture of the meat if it's cooked too long. But that pork recipe - he loved.

Angie, there is a Facebook page about this: Crock Pot Girls (http://www.facebook.com/Crockpotgirls) that is somewhat of a phenom - they got over a million likes in 2 weeks (or something like that). People put up recipes all the time on the wall, then also look in the Discussions.
I would love to cook every day in my crock pot. But there isn't much my family will eat from there. :(

Salsa Chicken - Chicken breasts, jar of salsa, can of corn (I use mexicorn), jar of salsa. When it's done, take the chicken out and shred it and mix it back in. Serve over rice and if you're really feeling fancy you can put cheese and sour cream on top. Super easy, kids love it, and you can even stick the chicken in there frozen. lol

I love Hunter's Stew, it was I think a Sandra Lee Recipe.
2 1/2 lbs round steak, sliced into 6 portions (I've used a roast before)
1 28oz can whole tomatoes
8 oz mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can beef broth
1 pk beef stew seasoning package
and as much celery & carrots as you like.
Pour canned tomatoes on the bottom of the crock pot, put meat, mushrooms, celery & carrots on top. Wisk the seasoning, soup & broth together, pour over the top. Cook on low 8-10 hours.
Serve over Rice or noodles.

Best pork BBQ. I want to make it all the time.
2 lb pork tenderloin
12 oz soda (root beer works best)
18 oz BBQ sauce ( I don't use that much, I just add till meat is covered in it but not too much)
Place tenderloin in crock pot
Cover with soda (enough so tenderloin is fully covered)
Cook for 6 hours
Once it is done, take tenderloin out and drain juices completely
Use two forks to pull it apart
Place back in crock pot
Slowly add barbeque sauce until it looks good then enjoy! :)
