there's a blog I read too and they baked a cake with white icing and the inside was the color of the gender (in their case it was a vanilla flavored blue cake)

On the pregnancy board where I lurk, they post all kinds of crazy ideas for gender reveal stuff. I never knew people actually threw parties for this type of thing. LOL

All of our family is out of state too so what we did with kid #4 was have the customized M&M's sent to the grandparents. We were having a boy so we had baby blue ones sent to them. We could have also had" It's a Boy" printed on them but it was more money and at like $13 bucks a pound as it was we thought just the color was sufficient enough!!! :D :D
