My mom totally kept journals for all of us until we could write in it ourselves. It's amazing and so special. I started it with my oldest but also started our family blog at the same time and they were so similar then that I decided to just blog. I kind of wish I had kept up with the journal, because I'm sure there are tons of little things I don't put on the blog, and it seems more personal, but oh well!

I have a paper journal for Nathan....I write recipes in it, little cute things he did when he was little, and I took it to all family functions at Christmas and birthdays and stuff and had family write in it at that time. It's quite full now that he's 11 :)

I journal everyday about our life and have it saved on a word document, but shoudl start doing this for each kid!

I keep a journal for each of my nieces 1 a year and all photos are put into it as well as a dvd of anything that I've journaled about. Doing it online is so much easier tho might start that from 2012 :) x

thats so sweet, I enjoyed watching that and it is such a great idea. I made a DVD of my daughters first 5 years. And added music to go with her growing up I was fine going through the pictures and scanning and adding them but when I actually sat down to watch I couldn't help but cry. It's so hard watching your kids grow up so fast. I can remember being pregnant with her and now she's in 2nd grade? Doesn't seem real sometimes??
