OK, I am wracking my brain to remember this book I read in the last 1-2 years, but I can really only remember part of it.
It started in Russia under Stalin's rule. A girl went to work for him and he got her pregnant. Fast forward like 40-50 years and someone (the main character of the book) discovers the illegitimate son is still living and has been hidden all these years in some small town in Russia. I can still imagine this part of the book it was described so well.
That is the only part of the book I remember and I think there was a whole other story going on too. I don't know if it was a paperback, easy-toead book, or something more in depth. Or if it was a popular book or an obscure one. I'm assuming I got it at the library and don't own it.
Does this ring a bell for anyone?
If not...just let this thread slip to the bottom of the forum and fade away....
