We looked at 2 houses this morning and the 2nd one I just totally fell in love with. It's amazing! Dh is cruching numbers at this very moment. This house has felt a little full for a couple years, but now that we're keeping our foster kid for good AND his dog... I'm just overwhelmed by the situation. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!!

We're going to walk through it again and place a bid and deposit. I'm so excited! Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that no one else swoops in :blink:

good luck!! :) We have the moving bug right now and have been looking for a couple weekends around town for a new home...we have to sell a house first though and in this market not sure how long that will take. I guess we could hold on to it and rent it out. I love our home but it's just a TAD too small for our needs as our kids are getting bigger.

Oh good luck! I so wish we could move like 5 years ago, but no dice. I am keeping my fingers crossed that things continue to go well for DHs business so we can move in 2 years. So jealous of you right now!

I'm a little scared too. We lived in 2 apartments before buying this house 10 years ago. So it's been our first house and I'm attached to it because we've remodeled and re-done EVERYTHING imaginable. We have seriously out-grown it though! Also... what's it like packing up a whole house? I've only done apartments. :huh:

Signing bid papers and handing over a deposit today! I've always see other girls posting their new house news and thinking, "Yeah, yeah. So you might be moving." Now I know what a big deal it is and I feel bad for being so uninterested. I'm so excited!

You are so funny! I wish you the best of luck! I hope they like your offer! That house is awesome looking! I really did enjoy every part of the buying and moving process. Yes, even the packing. It was a lot of work but SO exciting! :)

Exactly... Moving is the perfect time to cut down on junk.

A different state, wow! We've tossed the idea around a couple times about moving to Co where my sister lives, but at the end of the day I know I can't uproot my kids. Or leave my church and friends.
