So DD is due in any minute for a weekend visit from USAF Tech School and we have only seen her 3 days in the last 4 1/2 months. And where is my DH?
At a freaking fundraiser that a fellow chapter of our motorcycle club is having. I am sure he is drinking too. :cursing:
I am so angry right now :cursing: and I am hardly ever angry at him. Maybe once a year. But, it just upsets me so much that he isn't here waiting for her and wanting to spend every minute he can with her. He has worked like 65 hours this week and has to work tomorrow too so he will miss most of the day with her tomorrow.
Oh, and she loves her Dad's chili so she asked that he make it for her. Well, guess who is making it cuz he isn't here to do it?
Anyway, I just needed to vent that. I don't usually do drama but, I had to let this out cuz it's eating me up.

Oh honey, that would be super frustrating. :( I hope you can just enjoy the time with your girl and realize that it's his loss.

Hun, that would SO tick me off, too! I agree with Libby, you enjoy your time with her and it's totally his loss. Seems he may need to re-evaluate his priorities.

I'm so sorry. I totally get why you are angry. :( Hope he figures it out and makes the most of his time with her. *hugs*

Sorry Neenee. I would be so frustrated and ticked off too. Boys just seem to go stupid sometimes. For example......after several days of a stomach bug I cook dinner for the first time in days last night. AS SOON AS DINNER WAS COOKED and I was calling the family to the table.....DH left! Yep, picking up a gun from someone who was helping him fix something on it was more important than family dinner. I was livid. My hubby and I have two total different ways of thinking. He was just trying to mark a to do off his list and I was craving family time. Oye. Again, Sorry.
I hope your weekend with him gets better and that you have a super great time with your daughter! :)

omg your anger is totally justified! I'm peeved for you >:( Tara's right--guys can be so stupid. I honestly wonder at their brain cognitive functions *roll eyes*
I hope, despite this, your daughter enjoys her time with her family!

Well, the ignaramo made it home before DD by about 10 minutes. :glare: I guess I should be happy that he made it before her. He was being so nice to me when he got here. I never told him I was mad....but he knows me well enough to sense it I am sure.
We wound up having a great night. It is so wonderful to see Alyssa. I have missed her sooooo much. She's just adorable.
Thanks my friends for being here for me. <3

Glad everything worked out, NeeNee! I totally get why you would be irritated though. Like everyone else said, guys are such morons sometimes. :glare:
