so if somebody is renewing their vows and you are invited, do you buy them a gift???? they have been married 10 years and have 2 kids but since they just kinda got hitched at the justice of the peace, they are now having a real wedding....at a church, dress, attendants, reception...the works....do you get them a gift? I have no idea! and if you do, what do you get them?

I also have the opportunity to take pictures at her wedding so I hope I can get some great ones!!!!I don't have alot of experience with shottign weddigns and indoors, so keep your fingers crossed :)

I would. Its essentially a real wedding or like an anniversary party.

I would. nothing too fancy, but maybe like a date night gift basket or a gift certificate for something.

I'd get them a gift in line with what sort of celebration they're having. Since it sounds like they're treating it like a full wedding, I'd get a gift like what I'd get for a wedding. Since they don't need all the things a younger couple would and I'm assuming they didn't register, I'd probably give a check. Honestly, we do that for most weddings even if they do register.

I was going to suggest a nice photo album as a gift....then I read you are the photographer. Hmmmm.....now I have to think!!

Maybe some frames to put their new wedding photos in!!!

This! I was thinking more like a celebration of the time they've spent together, but if you are taking pics then you could maybe add a couple of nice recent ones to the end . . they'd just have to wait until after to receive the gift!
