In praise of comments

This is a spin-off to the other comments thread.

We've been praising designers, scrappers etc., but comments usually get the "I don't get many comments" treatment. I thought it might be nice to look at it from the other side and to talk about those comments we receive!

I love every comment I get, but there are some people whose comments are totally precious to me, because they comment on my LOs regularly and their comments always make my day.

norton94 - Krista is such a sweet person; she always takes time to comment and point out what she likes about a layout.

pomi - Majda has a great eye for detail and her comments are totally spot-on. She is usually the person who points out something I was "trying to say" - all those "hidden meanings" behind why I used something in a LO.

DeepGirl - Zora is a friend and she's such a cool fan to have. Always enthusiastic and never spare with words of praise.

Krystal Hartley - Krystal tends to comment quite often (also on LOs that don't use her products I might add) and her comments are always so sweet and never fail to make me smile.

This does not mean that I don't receive or appreciate other comments - I love each and every one of them, whether coming from a scrapper I admire, designer or a totally unknown person. I just wanted to point out those people who make me feel happy with their comments on a regular basis!

So, tell me whose comments stand out for you!

Oh yes, I totally agree with you! You as my sweet friend, Majda (pomi) and Krista (norton94) leave a lot of comments, too! It makes me happy when Krystal comments on my LOs done with her products, totally uplifting!

Recently I got very frustrated when I realized that I left many comments to one of my very favourite scrappers (as I really love her layouts!), but she did not bother to leave just S.I.N.G.L.E. O.N.E. for me. Just a note...

I just remembered - MrsJohn is totally generous with comments, too. And the Hybrid Gallery gals tend to comment nicely, too - MamaBee, Jen Tapler, Andrea, tettlepop20...

And gosh...I don't think I scrap often enough to be able to really have much input on awesome comments. I do love them all though. Very much. :)

Of course, Libby! She is really super sweet when it comes to comments.

And now I'm thinking about it, Cindy pretty much commented all LOs I did using her templates (I didn't do many, that's why she didn't come to mind).

I don't get a lot of comments (but I also rarely have time to browse the gallery and LEAVE many comments :(), but I do just love it when Cindy comments on my pages - she leaves amazing comments and it's just a really nice way to brighten my day!

I love comments, I love browzing the gallery, and I always respond when someone leaves me something nice. It's one of my favorite things to do in my slow time. :)

I love comments from Julie. She always takes the time to comment on things I make with her kits. Laura also leaves great comments.

Even after digi scrapping for over 7 years I still get giddy when I get a lot of comments on my layouts so thanks to everyone that takes the time to say something nice to the creator of a layout that inspires you!

i am not sure who is who yet but, I have loved having comments on the few layouts that I have put in the gallery so far and really love to drool in there as much as I can.

But of course. We all do. But there are people out there (like Majda or Zora or Krista) who go out of their way and comment almost each and every LO of mine, and in a genuine way too... I think that's totally worth mentioning. I don't expect everyone to do this, but I think it's something that deserves praise. That's what I had in mind. But I totally love any comment I get.

I'd hate to single anyone out. Like Aaron said, any comments are GREATLY appreciated and I know not everyone has time to browse the gallery daily. I also know everyone has different opinions and I love to see them!!

I really havent had that many comments (5), but only have 7 layouts uploaded so far . . I was thrilled when Kate (cardinalskate) commented on my third one - my first comment!!!! Then jamie.novey and mrshobbes on my . . then Cindy - my first designer comment!! then origami . . so I really, really do appreciate all of them hehehe!! :)
