Did you guys read about stacy francis? how she isn't really as bad off.. she's actually a scientologist and has sung for tom cruise etc :/. That kinda made me a bit grrr that they are making her up to be this poor singer who hasn't had any luck.

Pretty much all the over 30s are being made out to be struggling artists with nothing. I'm sure that's not the case with most of them. Well...maybe Dexter...he's just weird.

I'm loving the American one. We'll only get part 2 of judges houses this Friday, and I'm too lazy to watch it online, so I'll decide who my favourites are after that :p

The UK one is just dreadful this year. Every week I grow more and more appalled at the 'talent'. I don't know why I'm still watching it, they're all so bad :D

They told about the R&B group she was in before and earlier success.

It's no different than Christa being a Disney records kid or weirdo Dexter that was the front man of some group decades ago.

and I like Caitlin's (is she the rugby player?) voice but she bugs me...she seem somewhat snobbish and for me that just grates my nerves about her. She doesn't seem gracious and in a competition like this she needs to appeal to the masses and I don't think she is.

Either way she is VERY talented and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the producers of the show who kinda made her out to be this struggling artist. I was reading another article about how they sorta placed pawns in the show to make sure it was successful since simon cowel put so much $$ into it.

I can't stand her either.. the only thing I can think of is he is trying to stir up some drama or whatever? I dunno.. that girl looks like she could have some claws come out.

I love though that on this show simon shows that he has a heart :)

Wow...the live shows should be interesting. I know they are probably going for a diverse group, but they threw away some good talent to get it.

Tiah was my head shaker...gave up Caitlin (whom has a great voice) to keep somebody that sings on a diff pitch every other note. THEN cut Melanie...insane thankfully he realized that part but still

I don't mind Simone's voice really I think she has a decent quality sound but there were better girls. I laugh when Simon called hers Simone-e

and Dexter....I think Nicole went with her heart over her head on that one.
