When you have a LO with a lot of paper layers, how much do you vary the shadow distance? Do you do it for each layer? I tend to shadow the bottom couple of layers pretty similar and then start messing with the distance on the topmost layers. Shadowing continues to be a struggle for me...I mean, I do ok, but I wanna be a shadow rockstar LOL.

To me, it really depends on how they are layered. If they are just stacked, then they all get the same shadows, but if there are things sticking under certain layers, they get different shadows.

Like Jenn said, if they're uniformly stacked I tend to keep them the same. But if there is a flower or a star or something behind one paper, I make the shadow bigger on the paper on top.

That makes sense!

I think it really depends on how it's layered as well as what type of paper it's supposed to be. Notebook paper and cardstock aren't going to have the same kind of shadow.

Yeah, all these things to think about! I think I've got a good handle on it, just wondering what you all did.
