Cool idea, but for $28, I'd keep my Kindle keyboard and give it to my son.

I don't want a new one, LOL! I love mine, I've gotten to use the newer models for work and I don't like them as much as mine.

That's nice that Amazon is doing that. I just bought mine & I'm very happy with it. So I'm going to keep it and then in a few years I may think about getting a new one.
