A new family member & update on my daughter :)

My daughter called me today and gave me the news her and her fiance got married today. So I have a new son-in-law. They are still having their ceremony on November 11th and she has something special planned which she wont tell me about as a sort of memorial for her brother as part of the ceremony as well. It feels so weird to be a mother-in-law now and for my baby girl to be married. Oh and not sure if I updated on this here but she is a certified pharmacy tech now. I could not be prouder of her right now. She loves the new job and the people she works with and is married to the person she loves.

Im not upset. Im not sure why she did not want to wait. The person who was supposed to officiate could not do it and so they had it done at the courthouse today and the person who did the ceremony there agreed to do it on the 11th for everyone to attend.

To be young again....Congrats on your daughters marriage and new job. Make sure she goes through with the "real" ceremony or she will end up being like my husband and I 16 years later and finally planning our "real" wedding. The court house is nice for the legal stuff but you miss out on so much.

see, that's funny - because if I had to do it all over again, I'd take our immediate families on a trip somewhere and skip all the rest!

Jessica - I'm sooo happy for you and your daughter. i wish her a lifetime of happiness with her new husband! Oh, and I stronly suggest "the five love languages" for newlyweds :)
