I failed. lol. Made it almost halfway I think? I just got so busy... I think it was the prompts that got me - I was so busy visiting out of town, had a wedding and bunches going on for like a week straight and I took lots of pics, just couldn't fit in finding the prompts. BUT - thanks Holly for starting it, it got me back into taking lots of pics again! I think a monthly photo would be easier if I just did it like the p365 and took pics of what I wanted lol. I may try it again that way on my own, or try my own themed for Nov. I am considering tackling the Dec daily this year too.

The problem with challenges like this - and the reason why I don't even try to participate - is that you are asked to take a specific photograph on a specific day. I take random photographs all the time, but of things that interest me at that very moment. There may be a week (or two, or more) when I don't take any photos at all and there are days where I take loads. I can't plan that. That's why I know it would never work for me with a photo challenge. Still, the concept is interesting, just totally not for me.

Let me add I totally love looking at people's photos for challenges (including the one discussed here).

That's how I just looked at it. Started off on the wrong foot coz I was sick and in bed the first 6 days of October, and SSD or photo challenges didn't cross my mind very much those days, but then I just started to take those prompts as inspiration and did them whenever they worked out. So, in the end, I missed about 9 challenges or so, coz I just didn't know how to do them, or didn't have the time. But I assumed a lot of people were just taking those prompts as a checklist. Anyways, I had fun playing along, seeing everyone else's take on the prompts, and actually it gave me something to blog and talk about, lol!

Hope we could do it again some time, just without having to do the prompts on specific days ...
