Apparently a lot has changed in a year. I need some suggestions on places to upload my own cards to print that include envelopes.

I used to use snapfish and winkflash. I should have just done a premade card, but I changed my mind and instead I wasted hours doing a project to get a discount that I can't use. :cursing:

If anyone has a great suggestions on places to order 5x7 envelopes, I'd consider just ordering photos and envelopes separately.

Thank you for your help!

I have never ordered from them, but I have seen several ladies here order from vistaprint.com. Looks like their cards are on sale right now, if you want to take a look.

The only places I have bought 5x7 envelopes are hobby lobby/michaels or off ebay, so I doubt that's terribly helpful given you are probably looking for a larger amount than the 10 or so they sell in a set.

If you're a member, Costco includes envelopes and the first 50 cards are only $14.99. I did mine through them for the first time last year and they came out very well. I'm ordering this year's card from them tonight. But that will only work if you haven't designed them yet, because they do 6 x 7.5 cards.

Oh, I just noticed you've already designed them. Shutterfly includes envelopes. They have cards for 30% off right now through a coupon on the site.

I have no idea if they still carry this, but a few years ago at AC Moore I bought a package of 25 or 50 blank 5x7 cardstock cards with envelopes for a very reasonable price. Buying that package with the cards was cheaper than just buying envelopes every place else I looked. It was with the card making supplies.

Thanks! I've ordered business things through vistaprint, so maybe I'll give them a try.

I belong to Sam's, but not Costco.

I had so much to do this evening and shouldn't have been spending time on a card, and then more time wasting on searching to see what I missed on the two sites I mentioned.

Does anyone know if they don't allow you upload your own designs for books?

^ this. They are the lab that I most recommend to my clients. Except it looks like you can't get 5x7 cards/envelopes through the regular site now. :(

i've ordered 5x7 cards w/ envelopes from WHCC and shutterfly before - i didn't love my shutterfly ones though ... look at persnickety prints too - i *think* their cards include envelopes ...

eta - tara posted at the same time and confirmed persnickety :)

I ordered card from Shutterfly and never again. The contrast was way lowered and even though I do dark shadows you could barely see them.
They were nice and sturdy though. lol

Sam's has cards w/ envelopes too. (And bonus, you can usually get them in an hour and get them mailed sooner!) It's been 2 or 3 years since I ordered from them since we switched to Costco, but the last time I used them they offered 5x7 and 4x8 flat cards with envelopes, and they were about the same price as Costco.

ETA: My Sam's always had good quality printing, but I've heard that can be hit or miss.. make sure to turn of color correction and upload at full res (I think they're the ones with two options for upload).

I also ordered from persnickety and was very happy with the way they came out. It's a little pricier than some, but great quality and it included the envelopes. I ordered on Sunday night and got them on Thursday. They are in Utah, and I'm in Texas.

Thanks everyone. I will look at mpix. I've used them before for calendars and was pleased.

I appreciate the ideas.

At winkflash, choose the borderless cards and you can use your cards you designed.

Last year I ordered from Vistaprint and they never arrived. While they did give me a refund, I had to go and order from Walmart and didn't get them in the mail until the 27th. So I wouldn't recommend Vistaprint. They send it FedEx with a tracking number until it gets to a certain point, for me it was Dallas, and then it converted to USPS and was lost forever. Who knows where they are, but someone has 120 great pictures of us to wallpaper their bathroom.

I order from WHCC, but I've also used Winkflash in the past.
