after having a tubal, picking out names. Haha!
I'm one of those people that can't wait to figure this stuff kind of stuff out, so do you think these names are stupid?
Gunner Wyatt for a boy (I just did newborn pics of a baby named Gunner and I thought it was so cute)
Joslyn Harper for a girl
When I was pregnant w/ Keira Corrin, our boy name was Logan Wiley, but Logan became too popular by the name I got pregnant w/ Coop. Since he was our LAST baby, he ended up with 2 middle names after both of his grandpas & Sean. Cooper Douglas Wiley, our girl name then was Hailey Grace, but I'm not really digging that anymore either.
Sean said nothing that starts w/ a "K" or "C". But seriously, I'm ready for my appointment to find out if I should actually get excited about this or what.

I like both names! If I was going to name a little boy right now, I think it would be Lawson and a little girl would be Kyle. LOL

I have a nephew named Gunnar. I like it, but, please, use an a, not e. I also like Jocelin, but also spelled the more traditional way.

Cute names and a wonderful way to deal with this situation. Have you been taking a pregnancy test everyday? I'm pretty sure when I get pregnant (please let that happen God) I will take a test like everyday. lol.

I adore the name Joslyn! And don't worry about what anyone else thinks...if you like it, that's good. :)

Do you have an appointment soon?
March 9th, we leave for Keira's Make a Wish trip to Disney on Monday morning, and the VA couldn't get me in until the 9th.
If I've calculated, I'll only be about 7 weeks by then.
So, I've read they can't even detect an ectopic pregnancy until 7 or 8 weeks. And with all 3 miscarriages I had between Keira & Cooper they happened between 5 & 7 weeks. So I figure if I make it to that appointment, then this is probably going to happen.

LOL! Well, you guys knew what I meant.
But, DH is not allowed to touch me until we find out exactly what is going on! LOL!
And if this is an ectopic pregnancy, he has to get the snip snip and I'm going back on birth control!

No, the name picking is killing us. Trying to think of a girl's name is so hard.
I like the names you've picked out, and I HOPE hope hope this isn't an ectopic pregnancy. Be sure to keep us updated!

:D Yeah getting pregnant was definitely more fun than picking out names all four times for me.

We had a hard time coming up with names for baby #3... Baby #1 had a name long before he was conceived though we didn't end up using his name for him because of the circumstances (20 week stillborn). We named him differently and discarded what was to be his name since it didn't feel right even considering it again. The next baby was a girl so we had our girl name from the first pregnancy. When baby #3 came along we had no clue whether we were having a boy or a girl so we had to chose one of each to be prepared. We finally settled on names the night before the baby was born (which was 2 days prior to my scheduled c-section!). We ended up with a Tyler Anthony (who would have been Caleb Nathaniel), a Caitrin Alyssa and a Declan Levi.
We are hoping and praying for another baby (and have been for almost 4 years now) and I am leaning towards the name Nolan Patrick for a boy. No clue for a girl. We know we want another Irish first name but other than that not really sure.

Picking out names is so hard.
With my first we knew we were having a girl and decided on Addison Chloe pretty early.
But with my second we didn't know the gender and as I got to 10CM and was ready to push (no drugs, mind you) my DH turns to me and says "I think I like Sarah better as a middle name" UM NOW IS NOT THE TIME. Luckily he was a boy, but if he had been a girl his name would have been Hayden Sasha (no way was he winning).
My third was also a surprise baby and we had a girl's name picked out, Ayla Cassidy. But he was a boy and we didn't have a boy's name so for an hour of so after his birth we tossed around named. First he was an Isaac Gabriel, then a Noah Daniel and finally and Elijah Matthew (we like biblical, lol).

Wiley was my dad's middle name. I always wanted to name my son after him, he died when i was 3. His name was Olin Wiley, and Wiley is much better! LOL!

:( sorry to hear about your dad, that's sad. Olin is original!! Never heard of it lol. Wiley likes his name, but gets slightly annoyed that everyone says like 'Wile E. Coyote' lol... Or on the phone, he gets people asking for Willy ALL THE TIME :D His middle name is Dean, and I love the way Wiley Dean sounds :) (his grandpa named him, so when our girls were born, he gave Caitlyn the middle name Rae for him)

DH thought was it was funny when I was pregnant w/ Cooper to say that his middle name was after Wile E. Coyote! LOL! And he'd never correct it, so people probably thought we were crazy!

Baby naming is SUPER fun. It is definitely one of the fun parts, but I've learned to save it for the last 2 months of pregnancy when there is very little fun left. LOL. ;)
Now you've got me dusting off my old beloved copy of "Beyond Jennifer & Jason, Madison & Montana: What to Name Your Baby Now (http://www.amazon.com/Beyond-Jennifer-Jason-Madison-Montana/dp/B000FUTQAU/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1330225037&sr=1-1)" BEST baby naming book ever, although I see they have a revised 2009 version. I love your names, Gunner (although I've only seen it spelled Gunnar) and Joslyn! Gunnar is a Scandinavian name... in this book some of the other stand-out Scandinavian boys names along with Gunnar: Finn, Gunther, Leif, Niels, Oskar (not the Grouch), Stig, THOR!, Viggo (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001557/). Manly men! And Joslyn is super cute. I'm pronouncing it JOZ-Lyn the way it's spelled there, right? Jocelyn is the traditional way to spell it, but that's more like Jostle-In, I think. :) Ahhh... :o
Now I need to go have more babies so I can name them. :D

Ofcourse you are excited....
I am only 17 weeks and already thinking about names since week 1 LOL...
For a boy we have a name picked out already....but for a girl we didn't. At first we thought a girl's name would be so much easier....but in the end, hahaha.
My husband is more of oldfashion names like Josephine or Serafina (sorry???) and I am for more popular recent names. As I am in Holland our names are so different than those in America.

In French we have Jocelyn or Jocelin for a boy and Jocelyne for a girl. The funny thing is that the English pronunciation of Jocelin is actually the way we pronounce the girl name in French. French names are really different from English ones, too. :) Such a cultural thing!

I love both names and your spelling. The little boy name is strong and unique, the little girl name just beautiful and charming.

Oh, I really like those names
Moriah and Isaac were named even before they were conceived... but I had a hard time picking out Moriah's middle name... Asher was a total surprise and he was Jacob for a long time, but about a week before he was born I decided it just didn't seem right and a little weird considering where the names came from... So I was like if we have another girl do we have to name her Sara? LOL... So after looking at more Biblical names we finally decided on Asher and Daniel is my father's name. We also thought it was perfect to have Asher which means 'happy' and Isaac which means 'laughter'

Those are cute names! :)
Nathan's girl name was Lydia.
Naomi didn't have a boy name.
Parker's girl name was Daphne.
I changed ALL of my kids' middle names at the last minute LOL.
Colton Andrew became Nathaniel Colton at the last minute.
Naomi Claire became Naomi Alexis at the last minute...I didn't name her till she was like 4 days old LOL!
Parker Isaiah became Parker Samuel at the last minute :)
