I'd better catch up on the 14 hours of Fringe I have waiting on the DVR for me. I've watched it since episode one but I got so busy that I got behind. DH has watched them all and saved them for me to watch. I watched 4 hours this week but still have a lot to go to catch up. Yikes.

I know me too..but maybe the rating will jump next season and they'll renew it again. Not counting on it..IDK why this show cannot find a bigger audience..it's SOO good. One of the best on TV and every time I watch it I say John Noble needs an Emmy for playing Walter..he's so good.

I think last week's episode was one of the best of the entire series...but that may have something to do with Henry Ian Cusick guest starring :)

I may have to check it out if it's on netflix.

I don't like the quote about Alcatraz being canned. I love that show!

I love love love love love Fringe. LOVE. One of my favorite shows BY FAR. I'm just stoked that it's going to get a real final season to wrap things up and get a proper ending. They said from the start that the end of this season *could* serve as the series ending if it needed to, but I'm glad it won't need to and I'll get another 13 ep's. I'm REALLY gonna miss it though, I wish it had a bigger audience and could stick around for longer.

You just made my husband and I very very very happy fans! Thanks for the news; he in particular was getting all grouchy and upset that he was hooked on a show that was getting cancelled.
But now it's not! You made his night with this news!

Keiran and I LOVE, LOVE Fringe, and it's been on the bubble since like day one. I don't know why people don't watch, it's so good. I'm used to having shows I like canceled but Keiran takes it personally LOL I'm glad they're at least going to finish and not just let the fans hang.

They really hurt it when they moved it to Friday nights...and I think most Fringe viewers DVR it and then watch it later..especially since it's on Friday nights now. That has to have hurt the ratings. I know they keep up with DVR ratings now too..but sponsers want live viewers who have to watch commercials I guess.

I didn't know people still watched live tv. It's impossible for me. Back before we had DVR, I never watched shows where I had to follow a story line because I would always forget they were coming on.

I don't know why they didn't get a larger following either. It's AWESOME. Every person that I recommended it to, and then watched it, loved it.

It didn't do well on Thursdays because it was up against Grey's and I think at the time, CSI? Then wasn't it on Tuesdays? I can't remember. I don't think it did well there either? Friday sucks too. Most of all I hate the way American Idol effs with all of Fox's programming when it comes back. It drives me insane.

Same here. Before DVR I watched very little TV and nothing that had to be followed week to week. We got a TiVo the first year they came out and I remember how amazing I thought it was. We haven't been without a DVR of some sort since then. My SIL finally got one THIS year and was talking about how cool it is. I was like "we kept telling you!" LOL
