:( I just need to vent...
1) I need to pay over $3K in taxes, I almost died when I finished doing our forms
2) I lost my cellphone in a cab last night trying to catch my train
3) My mojo flew out the window, I dont even know what to do. There are awesome challenges and prompts out there but it just dont cut it.
4) My latte this morning was really bad for the first time, starbucks sucks! and I was late for work so i cant ask for it to be redone and its 20F here!
::now i'm sulking::

Our tax report nearly gave my dh a stroke too, then we talked to H & R Block and they really helped us out. Saved us about $800. I think you can go online and ask a free question. We ended up paying for more detailed work, but it was worth it.
Sorry about everything else! I got a bad latte from Panera once and was pissed. I was already in the van driving away before I discovered the horror. I was afraid to go back there for a long time. DON'T MESS WITH THE COFFEE!

I just never order coffee, then they can't eff it up. Or I order it black and fix it myself. And I hate starbucks so I don't get those crazy drinks, so it works for me.
I really need to file our taxes. We should be getting back a TON thanks to buying a house last year. I'm really hoping my fiancee lets me use some of it to buy a DSLR. Otherwise it'll probably build us a fabulous new deck :)
I really shouldn't be bragging like that. I'm sorry you're having a bad day!

Oh man, what a sucky day. Especially to start it with a bad cup of coffee. I look forward to my mochas every morning, once I already got into my car leaving Starbucks and they didn't put whipped cream (argh!) and it tasted like non-fat milk (double argh!!!). Tasted nasty!
Sorry about your day, hope things start looking up again soon! Maybe browse some galleries and get that mojo working again!
I'm sorry you're having such a crappy day. :(
Like Val said, it can be worth using an accountant. I don't know about the US, but here we can write off what you pay the accountant, and a good one is sooooo worth it. Seriously, it can make thousands of dollars difference, particularly if you're self-employed. It might be worth looking into for you.
Bad coffee is just wrong... there should be a law, I tell ya!

Sorry you're having such a rough day. I know it's hard when the bad things keep adding up.
I here ya on the taxes. My dh just informed me last night that his business did extremely well last year and is going to have to pay sooooooo much in taxes this year (like quite a bit more than his salary). Because we own it, our taxes are mixed in. So we'll probably never get a tax refund again. You can kinda look at it as a good thing, if we're paying in it means we did well last year. Still pretty much stinks though.
And, I'm not a coffee drinker. Hot cocoa is so much better to me!
Hope your day gets better.

We thought we were going to owe about 4-5K this year when my hubby did the taxes originally. but when we went over one of our forms with the IRS help desk, and got the form done correctly, they owe us about $200. So I will repeat what Valerie said - check with H&R Block or the IRS help desk if you're unsure of anything - it might change your taxes significantly!
As for the rest of your bad day, we've all had days like those and it sucks when we do; when I have a day like that, I try to spin it positive by saying to myself that tomorrow can only be better and that it takes a bad day to appreciate the good days. Maybe you can scrap about the crummy day you've had and that might spark your mojo at least ;)

Sorry you're having such a bad day!!
I went to one of those "we serve Starbucks coffee" kiosks a couple months ago...let me tell you, I'll NEVER do that again. I get the same thing every time I go to Starbucks (White Chocolate Mocha w/ Raspberry), and seriously it was THE worst one I've had in a very long time. The only other time I'd had one that bad was several years ago, I went to one of those Starbucks kiosks at the airport. YUCK. Only the real Starbucks stores for me from now on!

{{HUGS}} I'm scared to think about how much taxes we may owe...hopefully none *crossing fingers*. DH is self-employed and based on commission so getting those estimated taxes correct are tricky. Though I KNOW we won't be paying as much as we did last year!
