Do you know if the camera straps that come with Nikon cameras are all the same length!?!? If not do any of you by chance use the D3000!?!?! That's the camera my sister uses and I am wanting to make her a camera strap cover for her birthday...but I have no idea if her strap is the same size as my canon!! :D :D

I would think that they would all be the same size, but I don't know for sure.

I have a D5000- the non-adjustable part of the strap (that says Nikon on it) is 1 3/8" wide by 22" long. Then there are the thinner strap parts that are adjustable for length. Hope that helps- my previous Nikon was a D40x and I replaced that strap with a Mickey Mouse strap long ago.

I have a D3000...not sure where the strap is though as I don't use it. I can have a search if you'd like!

Jennifer you sound like me :D Once I got my custom made one I ditched my canon strap and I couldn't find it now to save my life!!! If you feel like having a search go ahead, but don't exert to much effort...I'll just use the dimension Kim offered and hope for the best!!! :D

I found it! It's 1 3/8" by 22.5" from thick part to thick part (well, the ends are tapered)
