in the last few weeks a few of the downloads I have gotten have some funky files in them.

This is just an emample. I cannot remember all of the files now I just thought it was something strange which a restart would fix. When I try to open the file it only shows the normal part of the file.

So tell me someone else has had this problem too? And it is not just an issue my computer is having because I would be a little upset if that was what was going on here.

(oh and Traci dont feel bad it wasnt just there and not just SSD either.) But it so sporadic so I just figured it downloded wrong or had some other issuel

I had an issue like that several years ago. It was either our router or modem, don't remember which. Hubby 'upgraded' to a better one, and with the next download, I had problems. This lasted for about a month. He finally got tired of me saying that there was nothing else it could be (since nothing else had changed). He put the old one back on, and haven't had the problem since.

But when you pull those files over to PS, do they still look like that?

I've had that problem before, and yes, it opens up like that. I just figured something was wonky when I DL'd it. ReDL'ing usually fixed it.

I had that problem a long time ago, too. I believe it had something to do with getting interupted during the download process.

I had that problem when my security was too high on my wifi. I had set it to a really high level (much higher than usual) and my downloads were corrupted all the time. I couldn't even use iTunes. I went back and reset it to a normal level and haven't had a problem since.

I had that randomly a few years ago too - re-downloaded & all was fine again...haven't had that happen for a while now :)

It doesn't look like the file was downloaded all the way. I have that happen sometimes if I'm getting a file and it times out or something especially on yahoo transfers
