...or BF/significant other...
Do they notice when you change something like your hair? I had 4 inches cut off my hair today and my DH has not said a word. :cursing: It went from below my shoulders to above my shoulders. All of my boys noticed and commented (thank goodness I did something right with them!), because well, it's NOTICEABLE! I understand no comment when I just get my normal trim and it might be an inch shorter or something, but 4 inches?
Ugh... It's tough living in a household of males.

usually yes. But there are times he doesnt. Like I wore a shirt the other day and he thought I had had it for years LOL. I said well it is vintage STYLED but this is the first time Ive worn it. He said he could have sworn I had worn it before.

He does, but usually because he's the one who takes me to the salon! :D

My DH only notices b/c he knows I am going there to have it done. Otherwise he probably wouldn't say a word nor notice.

He usually notices, but only if it's obvious. I got my elelashes dyed this week and he didn't notice at all.

My hubby notices, but usually doesn't say anything when I trim my hair. He HATES it when I take any length off - even an inch. And my hair is really long.

My husband is rather observant, even when I don't want him to be. So he always notices my hair length/color/wearing it down. :)

I guess I should say that we will celebrate our 22nd anniversary in a couple of weeks - does that make a difference? LOL I'd like to think not, but realistically, it probably does.

yea I think so. My husband and I are 21 years and there have been times he shaved off his beard and I would not notice right away. I think if it was a drastic change he would notice on me though.

Yep. Everytime-he even notices new clothes-shoes. I even let this man pick out my nail polish color-he picked a good one today-I love his crazy self.

Most of the time DH notices those sorts of things. He picks up on new outfits or shoes or jewelry, etc. as well. I'm less observant than he is . He will cut his hair and I won't notice for a bit. I think that we get involved with the kids so often that we don't stop to look at each other all the time. Now, if my husband shaved off his mustache, I'd notice in a second. Its been 17 years since he shaved it off last and he looked about 12 the last time he did.

He always notices. But that could be because I almost never get it cut. lol

he only notices if I cut a lot off. If I just get a trim then he doesnt notice.

Never says anything, about anything that would mean something to me, but always, always notices every little thing about the roads/cars, etc.

I only get my hair cut like every 2 years so when I do, he happens to notice and gives me his opinion!

I only cut mine about that often too, Angie. I usually mention ahead of time that I'm getting it cut too. Last time I just went and did it without saying anything and he was very quick to comment.
DH will comment that my hair is really curly one day or that it is pretty straight the next, etc. He comments when I wear make-up too and can always tell when I got a teensy bit too much sun too.

Well, my significant other will most likely see me walk away to the hair dresser, as I do this on Saturdays usually. Also, I'm not really the quiet "sit and wait what happens" type. If there is a change, my first words as soon as I'm through the door will be something like: "So do you like it? I like it, isn't is fuller this way? It feels good. I feel pretty."

I'm kind of like ginger! I usually mention it before he has a chance to notice. Since my hair is short now, he definitely would notice (but he also always knows because I got to my sister's or she comes here to do it). When it's long, he may or may not notice, but again... I usually say something pretty fast.

No. Never says a word. He's the complete opposite of his best friend who cringes when his wife gets just a trim because he LOVES long hair.

One of my favorite things about my hubby. He notices everything! :) Hair... if I cleaned a room, a new decoration I bought, if I put on make up, love it!

Mine notices because he's the one who cuts it. Lol I'm actually the less observant one. It took me awhile to notice that DH shaved off his Christmas beard. I think it's because I am always looking at pictures of him both ways.

Well... I just cut 8 inches off two weeks ago, while he was on a business trip - first haircut in almost 2 years... and when he got in, didn't say a word...
He said that BECAUSE he didn't say anything that meant he liked it... he hates when I have my hair too short... :glare:

My dh goes either way. Sometimes he'll notice the littlest things lol, like new socks(seriously) but will occasionally miss a big hair cut. A lot of the time he knows I'm getting it cut, but once I went early morning after getting kids off to school, and took off a few inches and added layers, and he NEVER noticed!! lol. But usually he does.

My DH notices, mainly because I grow my hair long for a while then suddenly have it cut much shorter. He's very observant (the guy could be a detective) and will often describe every little detail of a situation to me, it's kinda strange.
The down side to that is he notices everything that I don't want him to. I don't wear makeup unless I'm going out as I work from home and just moisturise, so if I have something nice planned for the evening and I'm 'dolled up', he'll walk through the door after work, tell me how nice I look and then ask what the occasion is, game over.
If he didn't notice hair cuts or something, I would make him notice.:D

LOL the hubs knows that whenever I can go to the salon it's an EVENT for me, so he knows to comment on it. If he doesn't I'll ask him what he thinks.
The other day though, because I had my hair down (I'd just washed it) he asked if I'd had something done, lol. I guess I've been wearing my hair up and away from my face too long.

My DH definitely notices when I clean a room or put something new up in the house. He's pretty observant. It's funny though because he notices it right away but then asks 'is that new?' like he isn't really sure or not. I can tell him, 'no, that's been there for 2 weeks' and he'd believe me. LOL

I don't wear makeup that often and my DH will ask 'was your boyfriend here today' when he sees me with it on. He's always joking about my fictitious boyfriend. LOL
