Hey ladies, it's well into our next week, LOL. I am still on break so no weigh in for me, but I will be weighing in this next week. Congrats to everyone on your amazing numbers last week!!! Y'all rocked it !! Can't wait to see your numbers this week!!!

I weighed in on Monday and had lost 3.4. I have to admit that I was completely shocked by that number. I thought it would be more like 1 pound if anything. And, my phone yelled at me again for losing too quickly. Lol. So, I'm not going to be expecting a big number this coming week.

That is awesome Lydia!!!! Ya, if I had more than a 2 lb loss, my phone app would have a fit and tell me to slow down, LOL!

My experience is it slows down fast enough anyway, so let it yell while you can. :D

Edited: Ok changed my mind. I decided to run this morning to get a good start to my long weekend. After running I had lost 0.4 lbs since last week. Since I generally weigh the next morning what I weigh after a run the day before I am going with this loss for the week since I can't weigh tomorrow when I'm out of town.

Total = 34.8 lbs loss

I'm so glad you asked that, Lori! I was gonna post the same question. LOL

I just started MyFitnessPal this week, so I'm totally in the "diet" frame of mind right now. As I said earlier this week, the motivator for me was when I realized my "fat" jeans had a hole in them. LOL That meant I needed to either buy new fat jeans or lose weight! So, here I am.

I will be weighing in on Fridays, so I'll post tomorrow. Fingers crossed that I actually lose something. I've got about 45 total that I'd like to lose (20 to get me to my pre-baby weight which was still too big). Baby steps...

Great! Thanks Melissa... and glad you're here too, Libby! I am doing a 6 month challenge over at JP Fitness Forums. I use the Lose It! app on my iPhone, and I'm following a Zone Diet-ish plan. Mainly just eating plenty of protein and mostly "real" foods. I lost 80 pounds back in 2007-8 and have gained back almost half of that. Looking to get rid of it once and for all!

great job lydia and tracy!! i didn't even weigh in this week b/c i've been so lazy - i had out of town guests and we ate out a LOT and i didn't get in any exercise :( and more guests arrive on monday for a 10 day stay (ackkk ... ) - i'm going to try to have a lot of veggies and fruit cut in advance - and hopefully we can grill a lot ...

Well, today was my first official weigh-in, and I'm down 2.6 lbs... I'll take it! I realize the first week is usually your biggest loss, so I expect to slow down considerably at this point. That's definitely motivation to keep it up though!

For this next week, I want to focus on not snacking so late in the evening. I always have plenty of calories left, but I know it's a bad idea to have snacks so close to bedtime. So, I want to do better about resisting those urges.

Glad to have more new faces in here! Well I'm away at a hotel this weekend and what's the first lunch I eat while gone...chips, salsa, tacos and a margarita (but it was a Skinny one made with Crystal Light). This weekend is not starting off well. (BUT MAN THOSE CHIPS WERE GOOD)
