I know how to tag individual papers and elements using Windows Gallery (or whatever it is called LOL). Can you tag a folder though? Like if I wanted to tag it for themes could I add a tag to the folder for christmas, baby, halloween, fall, beach etc???

I don't know about folders, but I tag the product preview.

I don't think you could tag a folder persay. In the interface, if you click on a folder it expands it and shows you the elements/stuff in it. You don't get exactly the same view like you would in an explorer window just looking at directories.
I do the same thing as Kate. Tag the product preview (which means by looking at the preview you then be able to go find the right directory it is in because you know how you filed it. I organize all my by designer name so I look at the designer name in the preview and then navigate to the correct directory.

Mine are all organized by designer too. But some kits I would use just for holidays tend to get forgotten and I wanted an easier way to find them. I dont keep the previews after I download and organize.

I've "tagged" my folders... at the end of the folder name I will put Christmas1 or School1 - pretty much any way I want to search for something. I use the "1" at the end to help narrow the search. When I want to see what Christmas kits I have - I just search my folders for "Christmas1".
I don't know if this is what you had in mind... but I like it.

I use Bridge, but I tag the preview AND the pieces.

Yeah, I tag the kit previews as well. My categories are
about me
boyish
bright & vibrant
fall & winter
food & cooking
kids
outdoors
pretty
school
soft
specialized
spring & summer
winter

Helps a lot when I'm sitting down to do a specific page. Gives me a good jump start.
