Happy Thanksiging Sweet Scrappers! Ok, well this is the last time I'll be in your inbox before Thanksgiving in the U.S. so I had to make sure to get that in there. This year, I have so very much to be thankful for, but I wanted to let you know that number one on my list this year is YOU! Without you, I couldn't do what I do, so THANK YOU for contributing to my small business with your purchases, every dollar keeps a roof over our heads, food in our bellies and gas in our car. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you! Now let's move on to the goods this week before I tear up, mmkay?
I Love Us
Yes, there is no doubt about it, Thanksgiving is just right around the corner. As storytellers and memory keepers, you are probably starting to create pages and pages on gratitude as you find yourself in the mood to reflect on things, people, and circumstances that you are grateful for in ways big or small. This week, let's take a step back and go a bit low key. Bring the reflection close to home. I Love Us (https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=24409&cat=530&page=2), a digital scrapbooking kit by Traci Reed Designs, is a cornucopia of soft and shabby goodness that softly whispers warm thoughts of gratitude for people who never fails to rekindle a sense of contentment and assurance everyday of the year - your spouse, your little ones (and not so little ones), your family.

Tell your version, your very own story of Us as it changes everyday - from crazy to quiet moments, loud laughter, tears of joy or of sadness. The soft cooler hues that bridge autumn into winter will surely keep your memory pages alive for any season in the years to come.
Develop From The Negatives
Life is like photography, we develop from negatives. Thanksgiving is surely another reason for you to dive into full reflection mode and think of life experiences both good and bad. Develop From The Negatives (http://), a collaboration by Traci Reed and Shawna Clingerman, will remind you how gracefully you have emerged from all the negatives you may have gone through in years past. Packed in shabby goodness, in soft shades of peach, yellow, mint green with a sprinkling of brown, engage in a light and gentle journey of self reflection into life lessons learned and give yourself a chance to breathe and take it all in.

Journal about how the years have certainly produced a better version of you. Reflect on the hard times and how these have kept your feet on the ground. Take a bit of time to remind yourself to appreciate the beauty that you have in you and all around you.
14 Days of Hardcore Gratitude
We are now on Day 9 of 14 Days of Hardcore Gratitude. The response has been pouring in and has truly been heartwarming. This exercise has shown how a bit of scrap therapy can be very helpful. More than that, this has given a new meaning to shared/group scrap therapy - each participant working out personal issues while collectively sparking a catharsis into healing and acceptance while supporting each other.

You can still join in and catch up. There are no deadlines to healing and self-appreciation. There are also no rules, you can still go through the classes and share your thoughts when you are ready. To check out the last 8 days, you can start here: Introducing 14 Days of Hardcore Gratitude! (http://tracireed.com/news/2012/11/introducing-14-days-of-hardcore-gratitude/) The releases today certainly come in handy and can be a good kick off point.
Y'all know that IT'S COMING...
With all of the pre-Thanksgiving activities going on this week, here's another event to be thankful for. The 2013 Hawt Mama Call Begins on the 1st day of December. RSVP to the event today by clicking on the image below.

Finally, A True Diva... A Shining Star Remembered...
As you know, the community, and especially my home, SSD, lost one of it's shining Stars 2 weeks ago to a completely unexpected heart attack. Nearly 100 designers from all over the community have come together to create this wonderful tribute/charity kit in her honor. All proceeds will go to the American Heart Association in her memory.
I worked with Eva many times over the last few years and to say that she will be missed by everyone at SSD is an understatement. Our heart goes out to her family and we hope that we can show them a little of our love for her through this work of he{art}.

It sure is looking like a bountiful Thanksgiving - new releases, something to look forward to, a bit of reflection and scrap therapy, and new found support. Don't you feel extra prepped up for an awesome Thanksgiving celebration?
Love,
Traci
