I'm thinking of resurrecting my blog but I'm not sure if would end up just being a journal of sorts. I originally started it in 2005 since we lived over seas and it was a great way to keep family & friends updated. Then I became a designer and store owner and it was a great platform for all things scrappy. But then, with the dawn of FB and my 3+ year break from all thing scrappy, it's just been sitting there since March of 2009. lol I just spent the better part of the day reading it and I'm so glad I didn't get rid of it all together because there are some really great memories in there.

Since I've started scrapping again and am on a couple CTs, I'm wondering if I should start using it again? What do you think? Any suggestions?

I stopped paying for it, so now it's not personalized and frankly, I don't even know if I remember how to do that. lol Here's the link if you want to take a peek...

Thanks everyone!

I guess my answer would be if you feel like it, go for it!

It's funny because I actually dusted off my blog today from months of not posting and did a new post LOL. I got burned out because I was only posting CT kit promos and stuff like that, and not doing the thing I originally started it for, which was to share my artsy/crafty/sewing/soaping/scrapping/photography projects. I'm hoping to get back into it the way I originally intended :) Mine's not a paid one either.

I've found myself using facebook more and more, and my blog less and less. I didn't see the point in keeping both updated with the same stuff.

I've been thinking of getting rid of mine because I don't keep it up. I'm not sure if designers want their CT members to blog or not. That's probably the one reason I've not deleted it completely. If you want to keep it up, I say go for it. I'm not much help, I'm afraid.

I never got into the whole "blog thing"... and after I lost my domain because the company I went through refused to answer emails when we tried to transfer it to another host where our other blogs. But I have thought of dusting off my shutterfly "blog"... than it's just scrappy and talking about what is going on... I'm like a year being on my scrapping of every day stuff... so at least I would have something to jog my memory, next year when I get to this years photos... haha.

I love blogging, so I say, go for it!!!

The key is to constantly remind yourself of why you're doing it. It can be so easy to get distracted by other things.

I've blogged off and on - and I'm currently in an "off" time. I started it because we're military and don't live around family and I wanted to share things with my family who refuse to get onto Facebook. Well, it turned out that they didn't end up reading my blog, either. I was enjoying keeping it up for me and the few scrappy friends who read it, but it ended up taking more time than I wanted to spend on it (because I didn't keep in mind why I was doing it, like Monica said). I keep thinking about starting it up again, but I'm just not sure. I may start up again in December with December Daily / Journal Your Christmas as a way to record the memories until I figure out what kind of an album I want to make.
