Pinterest randomness

You wanna know something totally random but funny? Over the past month people have massively started to follow my 'Bathrooms' pin board. Every day for the past few weeks I got notifications of at least 3-6 new followers for that particular board. And this is a totally neglected board with only 7 pins and the last thing I added on it was one year ago!! And none of these new followers have repinned anything from that board!

I really wonder why that is. I did a search for bathrooms on Pinterest but my board doesn't even show in the results. Or is it typical that I don't see my own boards in search results? And now the same thing is happening with another one of my boards (my scrapbook layouts). Has anyone else noticed something like this as well?

Thats strange. I get emails from them all the time that my stuff's been pinned, etc, but I really don't pay attention to it because there is so much of it. So I would have no idea if something odd was going on with mine. I wonder what is happening though!

That happened to me with my Motivation board. All I can guess is that it was one of those recommended boards in their weekly emails.

I turned off the notifications for people re-pinning and following my boards. I have hoards of them following my Christmas one. I think it's because I have this one thing I pinned that's been re-pinned 957 times... a white Christmas tree image. ???
