I have bought my aunt and uncle a movie theatre gift card for christmas but want to jazz it up with something extra that doesn't cost too much - I had thought to go for some sweets but im not sure so do you guys have any suggestions.

Get one of those inexpensive plastic "popcorn" buckets and fill it with a few treats and the card. Wrap it in cellophane with some curling ribbon and it will be a cute little present.
I've done something similar in the past for coworkers by taking a classic Christmas movie, a big "popcorn" bowl, some microwave popcorn and movie snacks, and homemade cookies and shrink wrapping it. I call it the family movie night present. It is also great for holiday fund raisers at school and church. :)

Darcy has a gift card template in her shop that you could present the card in.

I did this for my husband one year and they had the old fashioned looking plastic popcorn buckets at the dollar store for $1! Not sure if they have dollar stores near you but you might want to check it out. I also got lots of things of candy at the the dollar store too. It was reasonably cheap and came out really cute! Good luck with your gift.
