My oldest daughter is obsessed with Taylor Swift. So, just about everything on her Christmas list is somehow related to TS.

She had asked for either a pair of red Converse Chuck Taylor's OR a pair of Red Keds cause that's what TS wears (and she was shocked that I knew what Keds were, btw. She thought they were this new shoe that just came out. LOL)

I couldn't find Red Keds anywhere, so I ordered her a pair of Red Chuck Taylor's from ebay (new), and they came last week.

Then today, I got a notice from the TS online store that today only, as part of their 13 Days Of Taylor (T's birthday is Dec 13), they have this package (http://store.taylorswift.com/RED-Keds-On-The-Go-Holiday-Package/dp/B00AI7BH3O) (these were NOT on the site when I ordered there for Black Friday).

If I hadn't already ordered the Chuck Taylors or even if I'd gotten them somewhere where I could return them, I would be ALL over this cause she would freak out (I got a good deal on the Chuck Taylors... that's why I ordered them from ebay).

For a split second, I thought I could just keep the Chuck Taylor's myself (we wear the same size), but then I remembered that I'm SO not cool enough to pull off that look. LOL

Oh well. She'll still love what she got, and she'll never know about this.

I'm such a sucker, I'd totally keep the Chucks and order these. I'm also an enabler. ;) Really though, I have a Taylor fanatic too. I wanted so badly to buy her tickets for Christmas but for the 4 of us it was going to be well over $500 and that seemed silly. Maybe next year...

I would totally get the deal too. And YES you can pull off wearing the chucks. I found a FABULOUS pair of teal chucks last night that Im drooling over. Oh and a pair of black metallic rainbow too!

oh bummer - but yea, if it were me, i would buy the keds too! LOL! you can totally rock the chucks - and the concert is a must too :)
