I following what you read Laura, so I'm of no good. I kinda dislike period/historical books too. I'm reading some freebies I got since I have nothing else right now. :(

I'm currently reading 11/22/63 (http://www.amazon.com/11-22-63-ebook/dp/B005K0HDGE/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1357417936&sr=1-1&keywords=11+22+63) that Mary recommended a while back, and OMG it is SO good. I'm reading it super slowly cause I don't want it to end. LOL Seriously though, that's like the highlight of my day right now to get to go read a couple of chapters before bed.

Go get it.

Since I can't do anything but lie down for comfort these past few weeks I've just read the whole Midnight Breed series, a bit like Black Dagger Brotherhood and I loved them all! I now need a new series to keep me busy for the next 4 weeks or I'll go crazy lol.

I've been reading a lot on my iPad and lately it's been cowboy/romance (though I usually go more for paranormal romance or historical romance). In the past 10 days or so I've read two different series by Carolyn Brown (http://carolynlbrown.com/). First was her Honky Tonk series (4 books) and then her Spikes & Spurs series (6 books so far) and now I'm getting ready to download her Lucky series next!!

I'm also impatiently waiting for the next Black Dagger Brotherhood book to come out in March!

Have you read Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series, Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series, Kerrelyn Sparks Love at Stake series or Lyndsay Sands Argeneau series? Those are a few of my favorites that would be similar to Midnight Breed & BDB!

Thank you, Marie! I checked out the first two from the library a couple months ago and forgot about the third one. I'm going to need to check to see if the library has it.
