This is what I'm talking about...

How do I view these alphas? Sorry to call out Libby.. it's not just these alphas.. but any files/brush that's just white. But I figured.. she might have a way to see them. This screenshot is from Adobe Bridge. Is there a way to change this white background to gray or something so that white shows up? I remember in ACDSee that I was able to change it to grey to show white images.

Oh gosh, I don't even know the answer to this, so I'll be happy to hear if someone else does! I don't use Bridge, but I run into the same problem in Windows Explorer. I usually just choose to "preview" the file and then click through 1 at a time to find what I'm looking for.

I'm really sorry! I hope someone else can help both of us! LOL

Good to know that I'm not the only one with this problem! LOL

I'm the same as Libby. Or I just open them in my program where you can see better.

BTW.. what kind setting would you use for these alphas? I'm trying Distance 3, Size 2.. but not sure if that's the best settings.

I was just musing on this yesterday. I think what might help is to create the preview yourself, to open the A letter for example, put a black/grey background in and save it as a preview file. At least that's what I might do with this type of files.
