Summer Albums

Is anyone making an album devoted to just the summer?

Yes, I always do that... and it's the ONLY season I do it for. I usually limit it to the summer holidays, and if there are still too many pictures, only to the three weeks my husband is on holidays. I'll also make an album for Levi's first day of school in August and my traditional hiatus album (where I scrap the whole long waiting for my show to return in the fall). So I'm practically scrapping LIKE MAD.

No, I just do chronological albums so my summer layouts just into my annual book.

No... but I do lots of summer layouts. I'm chronological too (Kara is actually my album hero) and make pages pretty soon after events. Plus, I cover summer events pretty good in my PL pages.

I usually don't, but I'm thinking about doing a smash book style album with the kiddos this summer.

Not specifically summer, but I am going to do a mini album for our camping trips this summer, kinda Project Life style.

not summer really, but if we do vacation, then I do that separate...

No, I mix everything into 1 album. If I'm drowning in vacation photos I sometimes make a photobook or simple scrapbook devoted to our 1-week vacation, but not to the entire summer.

Same as Angie... the vacation album will be it's own thang... otherwise, it will just be project life. I love the idea of when Jake gets older to do a smash book for the summer month... that would be our summer "school" project...

I might do something for our vacation this year as it will be a pretty special one... so I'm sure I'll have tons of photos.

I'm doing project life though so we'll see if I find the need to do something additional :)

I never have but this summer I'll definitely be doing an album of our big trip, which will be half of our summer... but I guess that's more of a vacation album them a summer album :D

I'm planning to do a summer mini album, kind of like my Holiday Faves mini.

Yes! We do a 'summer of fun list' and I make a separate album for that. Last year I did a Smashbook, this year I'm doing one of the Project Life mini-albums.

I still scrap all the activities for my regular albums, but love having something small and just devoted to our list.

I'm thinking of doing a mainly photo only one. The boys really want one they can take to school and show when school starts back, and well, I don't know how well the PL album would go over with all the breastfeeding photos. :p
