 I went in to print out my scallop album pages and it won't pick up the paper, it keeps saying it's initializing and then gives me a cartridge jam error. I have basically taken the thing apart and put it back together and it's still not working... :(
We currently have an HP 2675 All in one. Any recommendations for a new one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg but still prints great pictures?

are you sure it's dead? Have you looked online for support or anything? Sorry I'm no help, I don't print at home :)

I love, love , love my Epson R200, it prints great photos! I bought it 3 or 4 years ago, and even back then it wasn't that expensive, its only downfall is it only prints as big as an 8.5 x 11,
Sorry about your printer, I hope you find one that you like!

Yep, I love my Epson, too! I have the model up from Shannon - the R220 (I bought it because it has a special attachment so it will print directly onto CD - though I've never used it, lmao). I think I paid about $100 for it and that was 3 years ago.
Whatever you do, when you go in to those stores - be careful that they don't try to talk you into something you don't need. I went in knowing exactly what model I wanted and they STILL tried to convince me I needed the next one up in the series, which has like a computer in it, lol...you can change photo settings (levels etc) and print straight from the camera...but I was like, dude, I'm a digi scrapper, I have Photoshop! LOL!

I have a HP Photosmart D5160 that I love and it prints great. I think I paid about $75 for it last June at Office Max. Not sure what the current model # is but it's a great little printer and the cartridges are reasonably priced and it only takes 2 unlike some that take 4 or 6!

I don't even know if HP has support for this one anymore it's so old. I think we bought it like 5 or 6 years ago.. .
I want something simple that's for sure. This one only has 2 cartridges and I like that. We don't use the scanner on the one we have because I have an Epson flatbed that I love. However, we occasionally do use the copier.
I think I want an Epson this time though... Guess I really need to get up and go out and look. ;)

I have an Epson All-In-One and have loved the results. I have been using its negative scanner to scan my childhood photos for the Tell Your Story challenge.

The nice thing about the ones with 4 or 6 cartridges is that if you run low on one color of ink, you don't have to replace the whole cartridge, just put in a new one of that color. Mine has 6 cartridges and replacing them all costs me just under $100, but I print a lot and still only have to change them probably every 8 or 9 months. And if you have a Costco, they carry the ink for my printer for only $75 (for all 6 cartridges). I haven't needed a replacement since I did it only a couple months ago - but I might just go buy some to have on hand at that price, loL!

I have an HP Photosmart C5240 all-in-one. i got it al Walmart. i can't remember exactly but i think it was around $160. could be more, could be less. My husband says to go to Newegg.com and look. they are really cheap on electronics and computer stuff. But i love my printer. it prints awesome pics!

Yes, I agree with Bree. It is great that they break of the cartridges so you only replace what is out instead of the whole thing. I have the wide format Epson R1800 and I LOVE IT! The quality is truly amazing. Yes, it is a bit more, but for me, because I do a lot of hybrid and such, it was worth it. Epson now has an R1900....and then added an orange cartridge. It is supposed to be rockin.

I want a wide format SO BAD! I'm so jealous, lol.
I have an Epson, I think it's an R340. I love it. I'll probably always buy Epsons now. I'm hoping to upgrade to a wide format sometime next year maybe. :)
