I'm cleaning out my 2 year old's closet to hand down all of his little baby clothes to some friends and it just makes me want to cry :( We took his crib down a few weeks ago and put him in his toddler bed and I'm coming to the reality that I don't have any more babies!! Looking at all those little onesies is gonna put me over the edge!
Oh, and did I mention that there's a lullabye CD playing in his room? It's just too, too much!

I know exactly what you mean! I've been doing the same thing with my 3-year old twins' stuff and it makes me want another baby so badly!!

Awww, yeah! I hate having to do that...it's worse now that much of it's made the rounds twice, lol...I passed all my kids baby clothes to my sister, and then another of our sisters was pregnant so we all met at my place and she was going through them, I was like AWW, I remember Mason/Natalie wearing that!
Well, my hubby is "fixed" so we won't be having any more no matter how badly my uterus is contracting!

Oh, the same thing happened to me while we were moving. DH got snipped over 2 years ago, though so there will be no more babies. As much as I love looking at baby pictures, seeing and holding babies just the thought of waking up half a dozen times a night cures me of my baby fever.

It sure is a sad moment. I did that 10 years ago when my youngest was almost two. Now I live vicariously through my sister and SIL who are still having babies! LOL

my best friend had a baby at christmas time, and I had given her all of my boys stuff. so now I go to her place and see my stuff being worn on Karter, brings back memories:(
But then he stars to cry, or she tells me he was up all night and I am good again

My youngest is nearly 5... whoa, where did the time go... and I just sold his crib and stuff a few weeks ago. It was a hard road for me to get to that point. I kept his baby things for a long time thinking "just maybe" but now my baby fever only lasts for a few minutes and then it fades away. But it is strange to think I have no more babies... just a few guys that act like babies some times. LOL ;)

Aww I know what you mean! Kyle is almost 11 months now and I need to go through his stuff cause he's outgrown SO much stuff lately! He's already wearing a lot of size 24 months stuff so he's growing way too fast for me! He's our last too (got a tubal about 1/2 an hour after his birth lol) so it's hard knowing there won't be any more babies to wear his sweet little clothes! And don't get me started on the tubs full of cute girls clothes I have out in the garage that I need to get rid of too...

I hear ya big time on everything that was said by everyone here!!! I love babies so much and if I could have 20 more I would but now that the twins are 5 it just isn't gonna happen. I do get to hand stuff down to my SIL's nephew and when I see him wearing it it brings back so many memories!!!! I also get my baby fix everyday with my niece, but I get to send her home at the end of the day ;)

It's so hard isn't it! I was cleaning Rhett's room this weekend. He's growing way too fast. I have a gf that is pregnant right now and I'm saving all of his stuff for her. If DH has his way, we are done. I'm not ready to say I don't want another one... even with the sleepless nights.

{{{HUGS}}} I totally know how you feel. It was really hard on me emotionally when I gave away all the baby gear like the Bjorn, bouncer and saucer and stuff. *sigh* Is that why I keep dressing DD2 in shirts that are too short that her belly shows...b/c I don't want to be done w/the clothes forever :(

I know how you feel, last month I spring cleaned my DD's closet and removed clothes that doesn't fit her anymore. Looking at those little clothes makes me a bit sad, she grew up way to fast....

I CURED my baby fever by having another baby 3 times over:p so after having a teenager (15), 2 inbetween and Peyton (8 months), I have no desire to have anymore...I'm just to EXHAUSTED and even though 37 isn't that old, sometimes I certainly feel TOO OLD:p !but I do love each of them and when one is headed to college, another will be starting kindergarten! so I guess I will get to enjoy all that fun parent/teacher/school stuff all over again~but I certainly know how it feels, 'cause I still haven't gotten around to giving some of Sam's {15} stuff away...still in a box in the garage, along with the other 3 kids~

I just did that with my little guy's clothes, and he's only 6 months, rofl. We're doing it while sleepless nights are still a thing of the present, so I sniffed JUST a little, but mostly was like BYE BYE BABIES; HELLO INDEPENDENCE!
It helps that my oldest is just three and loves to cuddle, and I will NEVER forget how awful he was as a baby. I just can NOT risk experiencing that again!

I've been doing that too and it seriously kills me. :( I've been a big cry baby about it all. I'm having such a hard time with the whole growing up/getting older process right now.
