I was terrified of the dentist when I was young. I don't love going, but I am so, so much better than when I was young.

I am still in fear of drowning (water) but I absolutely LOVE the water and will always be in it when I can :)
I had a fear of doctors, dentists etc... but it's going so much better right now. I keep saying myself that my health is more important than fear.
Thanks for the chance to win.

Flying for sure! I hate flying! It took me years to get on a plane the first time and my boyfriend at the time got pinched in the arm every time a heard a noise. The poor guy was all purple after 5 hours in the air.
I still fly though! Almoust once a year. When you live in Norway you need some sun every now and then :)
Thanks for the chance to win ;)

Phone. Phone calls to people I don't know scared me. These days, while I still don't love them, I at least to it and even in foreign languages without knowing in advance what language will be spoken. Good. Also, when younger, I'd be dead shy about talking a language if I didn't speak it perfectly, so that's another one that I lost ever since I came here and was glad when I could get the message across even in gestures, LOL. So I'd say in general it's fear of embarrassment that I got rid of.
Thanks thanks thanks for the chaaaance!

I was afraid to even try using our new camera last Christmas. LOL! I got over that quickly! I am still worried, I will never figure out all the settings, but I figure, it will happen!

There are so many, but I'll pick my fear of talking about my fears. lol I went to my doctor to get help for my anxiety and it was the best decision. :)

Fear of play-doh. Seriously. The stuff is gross and the smell is horrible. But my DD loves it and always wants me to play with her. So, I've gotten over it, and actually somehow survived. ;)

Flying. I used to be really nervous about it and just freaked out when I was. Then I flew at night once and that was it, I loved it ever since. It felt like I was in space and growing up, I wanted to be an astronaut.

I used to be really shy and afraid to talk to people I didn't know, but I guess as I've gotten older I've gotten over that. I still don't necessarily love it, but I'm definitely better at it than I was.

fear of talking to anyone new, in any context. work, school, church, etc. I'm still very shy and introverted, but I'm getting better at not being scared of people :)

I have a fear of giving up control of daily things like schedules, decisions, etc. I am constantly working on calming myself down inside and going with the flow more than I'm comfortable with.

I was afraid of standing up in front of a classroom of middle schoolers and having to be in control. I figured it couldn't be worse than some of the things I had to do in the military, and I survived :)
Thanks for the chance, Nicole :)
