I am sitting here in the living room, on our comfy couches, with my feet up on the recliner, ON MY NEW LAPTOP!!!!!!

So fun!! And since it's a 17" screen, it's got a huge full keyboard, and the screen is flippin awesome!

The shift key is itty bitty, that'll take some getting used to, lol.
And I have to get PS loaded up on here, but hopefully that'll happen tomorrow and I can take it home for the weekend and show my mom what this digi business is all about!

LOL about the shift key... that's one thing I had trouble adjusting too also, I was constantly hitting the up arrow because that's where the shift should be!

Sonja I got an HP dv9700t, a media/entertainment model. 3GB ram, 250GB HD, 2.4 GHz processor, and a kick butt 512 GB graphics card (which we couldn't even FIND in any other laptops, lol). 17" bright view screen too.

Now I just need to figure out if I have bluetooth in this thing, and I'll be set.

Yeah, we looked for a higher graphic card, but couldn't find one with our Dell. But that will be one of the first upgrades we do (besides getting a bigger HD, since my crazy hubby seemed to think 160GB was enough. lol).

Other than our lacking graphic card, our Dell has all the upgrades we could get at the time (we ordered it in November).

That was one of the first things I said last night when I was using it! Lol! "I'm gonna have to get a new bag to carry this in" lol. I think there's an Etsy site that sells glorious laptop totes, I just can't remember the name of the woman who makes them. I'll come back and post if I find them :) Right now I'm using a bag a friend made for me for my knitting stuff. But it's a perfect fit for the laptop so that'll do for now :p

That is awesome, I do not know what I would do without my laptop....I almost feel naked without it (we would NOT want that...believe me!!!) I am ready to upgrade already but I do not dare mention that to DH just yet ;)

Jordan bought a new sound system for the living room and it came yesterday too. The subwoofer is bigger than Tiger, not even joking LOL! But you KNOW I'll be making a LO about our new toys, lol. I might make a mini album tribute to the new laptop, the soon to be new DSLR and the dining rooms chairs. A triumph album of sorts, LOL! Triumph's over Jordan's insanity, lolol.
