Well you see...for the first time I decided to use a glue runner. I have heard great things from paste eaters (no offense but I'm peeved) about how cool glue runners are and blah blah blah!
Yeah, stupid GLUE RUNNER pulled the facing off one of the pages in my chipboard tag album and I had to throw it away! What a waste of good chipboard!!!!!
Never again!! :cursing:

I dont know what the heck it is. It says glue runner on it (I have never used one, when I did paper scrapping I was very proficient with glue sticks and thats what I always used...they are the BOMB!).
It has like tape in it and when you run it along the surface of whatever it is you're trying to destroy, it leaves sticky booger stuff.
NASTY!

Glue runner -- this is different than a tape runner? Gosh, you leave the paper world for a couple of years, and everything changes.

That's what I used when I was a paper scrapper (glue sticks... haaaa! Mandy, Mandy, Mandy...)

Hey! I will have you know that not only did I get things published with glue sticks but they are also still stuck on!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
I never liked anything but that. I tried liquid glue and hated that too.:(

I guess this is why I stick with my photo mounting squares and glue dots!! (And spray adhesive for mounting things on chipboard.)

I've always used a tape runner BUT the kind with the tabs inside (hermie). But they've never worked particularly well for me the way they're intended, so I'd turn the handle and pick the tabs off one at a time. Easier than using the tabs with the paper on the backs that you have to peel off after...those drive me insane (but they're cheaper, so I do use them, lol).

LOL! It's ok, I'm just messing with you. I know that Kelly Goree (our paper2digi girl right now) was a die-hard glue stick user... heck she still may be! LOL!

You must have a big Xyron. I can't imagine trying to use my tiny "X" shaped Xyron for big pages. LOL.

LOL Mandy! I don't like those kind of glue runners either - they are a big pain! I usually stick with mod podge or my Xyron Cheetah. I have 4 Xyrons I think - the 150 (the X), the 250, the 510 and the 2" Cheetah. I really want one of the 4" Cheetah's too so I may have to pick one up if Hobby Lobby has them 30% off!

i see nothing wrong with using glus sticks! i use them too. but i also use rubber cement. a lot of people don't like it, but i have no problem with it. and modge podge. i have not checked out these Xyrons people keep talking about, lol.
ROFL!!! You are hilarious! I've never used them but I'll take your word for it!

As a paper scrapper here...let me guess...You might have picked these up at Walmart? If so...those suck! Last time I got some, none of them worked...I wrote the company and they sent me 15 packs of refills. Did they work? NOPE! I gave up and got a 3M Tape runner! Much easier and works so much better!

i want to know what kind of glue stick you use. I could never get those to work me.
I got a 50% off one regularly priced item coupon from Michaels in the mail. I guess I will not buy a glue runner.

I get the ones at WM that are acid free. I forget the brand name now. The Ross Stick is also good too.
