Ok so I am off in the gallery trying to up my posts to at least 200, LOL and I find myself using the same comments all of the time, how boring. What if I comment on more that one LO for the same person and say the same thing, they will think i have no brain in my head, lol
What do you use or how do you shake it up

Don't worry about stuff like that. I'm usually just grateful that people have looked at my stuff at all. :)
I try and comment on something about the lo. Composition, colors, about hte photos, if the journaling is heartfelt, etc etc

I usually say what I feel..even if it's the same thing over and over...

lol I like all comments.. as long as you don't c&p your comments and end up saying "oh what a cute lil girl" on a page of my boy.. I'm cool hahahaha. Most of the time my comments are lame.. or really really weird.. like telling my CTM lisa that I thought her hubby was hot... that's just too much info in a comment box :D :D

I feel like mine are lame. But I try to pick one aspect of that LO that stands out to me and them comment on that. I try not to repeat me self but sometimes it happens! I never c&p though.

I do the same thing - I try to comment on something specific about the LO, picture, etc...

I'm another that's just happy when someone sees anything about my layout they wanted to look and comment on. I love getting comments and views on my layouts. I tend to comment on whatever catches my attention first which might just as well be amazing photograpy or eyecatching color.

LA you crack me up!
I guess I'm just happy someone comments on my page so I don't think I'd notice if the comments were the same.
I try to say something specific about the layout too but I know there are a lot of times I just say how cute it is (sorry Libby if I've said that too much) or that it's great.

I love any comments! LOL! I usually try to say specific things about a layout when I leave comments.
I try to comment about something specific that I like about a particular layout - often it's the colors because that is what speaks to me the most in scrapping! A lot of times it's the perfect placement of some element or a really great photo. Sometimes it's just the nature of the layout itself - it was obviously made with love or captures a very sweet treasured memory. I can almost always find something genuine to say about any layout. :)

I just pick out something about the LO that I really enjoyed, either the clustering of the elements, the photo, the overall composition, the colours. No matter what the LO is like, I can always find something to comment on.
As for myself, I'm just happy someone took time to comment, I don't care much what it says LOL

I tend to stick to a theme - "Love the way you used (insert item here)" or "wonderful journaling", depending on what caught my eye. Plus the old standby "Great layout!" when I really like the layout but cannot pin down any specific reason

i try to mention what specifically catches my eye.
I'm thrilled to get any comment though.

I also read the description box because sometimes the LO is something that is special. Like Miz Amy Lou's LO about her dad. Who would know it was done to remember her dad you passed away recently unless you read that in her description.

I'm the same as many above me...when I comment, it's always related to something in it that caught my eye.
The only time I haven't been appreciative to receive a comment was several years ago on a paper scrapping board...there was a monthly contest (drawing) to win hundreds of $$ in scrapping supplies and you earned tickets by posting and commenting and a few other things (you could buy 1 ticket for every 100 points you earned). So this one girl would comment on EVERY single layout, and always said the same thing over and over... "great layout"..."great layout!"..."great layout!" LOL!

It was/is.... nothing like getting totally fake comments!! I HATE that! Luckily that board that Bree mentioned stopped doing that (giving points for comments). Not that she paper scraps anymore though, lol!

Will I got over my 200 and now I am on to 250, baby steps, you know< LOL
I have left a comment for every LO that I have clicked on to view, there is nothing worse than seeing that you have 87 views and no comments, if they took the time to take a closer look they should leave a comment

I so agree with you there Conni! It makes me feel like my LO must be AWFUL if 87 people looked at it, and nobody said anything nice about it, kwim?
