I need to whine.:crying: While I was straightening my hair, the straightening iron slipped out of my hand and I tried to catch it. I caught it all right - right on the pad of my thumb! :cursing:It feels like someone's jabbing me with a red hot poker.

eek! My sister was straightening my mom's hair the other day and she pulled a piece of it and mom went to get the piece she pulled and my sister wasn't looking and got her finger in the middle of the straightener....talk about yelling lol. I've been "luck" not to have burned my fingers yet lol though i did get my ear lol.

Yup, I work at Starbucks. Tomorrow will be the debut of a new coffee, Pike Place Blend. Starbucks is working hard on putting their feet back in the mud and putting the romance back in coffee.:)

MMMM! Now I want monkey bread and a Grande Dulche Latte!

Sorry about the iron mishap! Being an ex hairdresser I've got lots of war stories to tell with curling irons! ;)

I'm laughing at all you Starbucks junkies. Believe me, after working there you definitely get burned out on the drinks. Meghan, the lemon loaf is my favorite. I hate it when we sample them because I end up eating half of them.:p Maybe I'll have to do a monthly Starbucks gift card drawing...
