Soo what's for dinner in your house tonight???
I'm thinking tonight's dinner is going to be a recipe I found on pinterest (of course)

I have this cooking away. First time I'm trying it, so not sure how it'll turn out yet.

I wish I could be one of those moms would thinks in advance what we will eat. Generally we get home, we're starving and I dig around in the kitchen and throw something together quick.

That looks really good! I love asparagus, but it's only in season for a short time (May/June) here in Sweden.

hmm... I'm not sure... I've been sick the last few days, so hubby has been in charge of meals and you know that means take away....
I'm thinking of putting either a pork roast or a spoon roast in the crockpot and let it do it's thing... than have cauliflower in the fridge that will probably get roasted in the oven.
But keeping an eye on this thread for future ideas!

We LOVE asparagus here...and it was on major sale at the store yesterday so I picked 2 bundles up. I love to just roast it or grill it so I'm excited to try it in stir-fry tonight.

I am in the process of making my menu and grocery list. I haven't decided yet what is tonight. I am wanting to try something new but don't know what that is. I love these threads though. Always helps me find new things to make! :)

I've got a menu for the week but I can't remember what's on there for today and it's too early for me to willingly get up just yet, lol! I'm not a morning person...

Well, I'm babysitting my little sister and completely off cooking duty for the week. I think we will be having frozen pizzas or a sandwich. Maybe cereal if we are feeling fancy.

Tonight we're doing Cafe Rio Chicken (http://www.chef-in-training.com/2011/09/cafeio-chicken/). It's my first time trying this recipe, but it looks delicious!

Also, for those looking for something new, if you like pork chops give this one a try. San Francisco Chops (http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2011/03/san-francisco-chops-slow-cooker.html)
http://www.melskitchencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Chops-Plate-jpg.jpg
Or, for beef lovers, her Slow Cooker Sweet and Spicy BBQ Pot Roast (http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2010/07/slow-cooker-sweet-and-spicy-bbq-potoast.html)
http://www.melskitchencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/roast-ange-original.jpg
Both of these are to-die-for. I haven't tried anything from her blog that I haven't liked and I've made both of the above recipes multiple times since I found the recipes.

It WAS really good. I added uncooked noodles 15min before dinner time. My son actually asked me before he went to bed if we can have the leftovers for breakfast tomorrow, lol. I think it's safe to say that it was a hit and something I'll make again soon.
