Where are some nice "all inclusive" type places that are not so much places to go and party but more places that are actually nice and quiet and good for relaxation? (and maybe budget friendly LOL!!)

I've had co-workers rave about Sandals Whitehouse (http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Review-g1009314-d499965-Reviews-Sandals_Whitehouse_European_Village_and_Spa-Whitehouse_Westmoreland_Parish_Jamaica.html) in Jamaica and Beaches Turks & Caicos (http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Review-g147399-d254897-Reviews-Beaches_Turks_Caicos-Providenciales_Turks_and_Caicos.html).

I'd say a cruise too, we've done 3. We're planning on doing a family one next year. We haven't been on one since Keira was about 18 months old and we went to Hawaii.

The Sandals resorts are suppose to be amazing, and no kids allowed.

I second Lake Tahoe...we always stay here: http://www.astonlakelandvillage.com/

They have a hotel portion or they have condos that you can rent. I think there was actually a Groupon recently...there might still be. The beach they have is private so you have to be staying at the resort to use the beach. I'll lay on the beach for hours and just read. Very relaxing!

Of course, you have to pick the right time of the year or else it could be cold and snowy which is something you probably don't want. LOL!

I think Tahoe or the caribbean might be the best for you, somewhat private and away from people while still being able to do things.

The only all inclusive vacations we take are cruises.

I totally hate crowds and people and I love to cruise. We get a balcony room and avoid the Lido deck (we eat all of our meals in the dining room) and we have a great time. If you go to the Caribbean, though, you will definitely get a more partyish crowd unless you go on a 5+ day cruise (preferably 7+). You're so close to Vancouver though, an Alaskan cruise would be great. I also think they sail out of Vancouver and go to Hawaii, but that will be longer and definitely not cheap. hehe

My favorite kind of place to go with my hubby is out in nature. To me it doesn't have to be exotic. Mainly someplace where it's quiet and we can take long walks in a beautiful place together and have deep conversations. We love the mountains and the coast but in places that you wouldn't necessarily call 'destination' hot spots. There's some funky little towns on the Oregon Coast that are really hidden and quiet that are perfect. We like small towns too where you can eat at a basic local eatery and visit some of the quaint spots in town.

This was our trip last summer! I had it in the works for a few years before we got to take the trip and it was amazing! LOVED it! The kids had a blast there too

When we were on our cruise I talked to a lady at the spa about Jamaica. She said that if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing all-inclusive vacation, nothing compares to Ochos Rios.
